 Time Management
Some students arrived late even
how many times they were
informed regarding the NAT
examination.
 Students feel very
nervous, uneasy, and
afraid.
While waiting for the examiner,
the students were feeling a bit off.
This may be due to their
examination.
 Paucity of time in
answering the questions
According to the students, some
subjects took long time to answer,
particularly in Filipino and
Araling Panlipunan because they
needed to read first long
paragraphs before answering the
corresponding questions.
 Some students finished a
certain subject earlier
before the end of time.
Students have finished their test
questionnaires very early, before
the time set for each subject.

Parents or guardian were
regularly communicated of their
child’s current situation and
reminded them about the NAT.
 Giving a fun-filled
energizer
A short yet fun-filled energizers
were given to ease their feelings.
Good thing, this was very
effective.
 Adjustments of Time
Since some subjects were very
time consuming, the time for
lunch and recess were cut short
to address the needed time.
 Reminding students to
review their answers
thoroughly and make
use of the time.
Students who finished early
were suggested to review
their answers and to check it
of disturbance for the
duration of the test and
pre-test instructions.
 Allowing the students to
work through the
instructions and example
questions in their own
time to get themselves as
comfortable as possible
before starting the actual
test.
 Giving each candidate a
glass of water and
ensuring they don’t need
to use the bathroom
before starting their tests
also helps to get them
prepared.
 After the testing session
is complete, advise after
the exam and when/how
they will receive
feedback.
 Making sure there is a
 thoroughly as there might be
items that left unanswered.
