it seemed like a method of torture for my classmates since when they heard about the
activity they did not hesitate to disagree, so the teacher was looking for a strategy to
convince us but the attempt was in vain until a classmate took advantage of the situation
to take advantage of it for the benefit of the salon, so he proposed something in exchange
for the participation to which he suggested an extra point in the partial, the teacher was
not very convinced since apparently that deal for which many were willing to accept did
not benefit her, for which she decided to take the letter that would give a change to the
play totally which was to sign up for the piñata contest in exchange for 2 extra points, but
we were not going to close the deal so easily so we offered our support in exchange for 3
extra points for which the teacher already He had nothing else to do so he ended up
closing the deal with our conditions; That was an achievement for us that would make the
matter easier for us. It was just a matter of raising the situation with the little time we
had, the question was: would we be able to make the whole group sing and dance? Well,
we will try in the end, the points were already ours, so we had nothing to lose.

thing we could have done. First of all, choose which song we would sing that had
something related to Christmas. There were several proposals, even on my part, they

before the presentation, the idea of doing a general rehearsal arose, it would be our

least that was believed because we had the singing group, but the dance group would
give the finishing touch. The day of the Christmas event arrived and the only thing I

Now if my favorite part is the piñatas, stressful but beautiful, first the idea, I remember
having mentioned this contest to my sister since she wanted me to participate and she
was quite excited so when she found out about it, she did not hesitate to send me ideas
and one of them It was Dante's, who is Coco's dog and since many were convinced by the
image, we decided on it. do it, so let's get to work. The first day we started with the faces
of the piñata, which I was in charge of drawing so that they could later be cut along with
the wings and to be able to start reinforcing with newspaper and paste, since we had
almost two weeks to do it, we decided to meet at 11, although It was tiring to go to school

more than two days to reinforce each piece of the piñata and that there were days in
which some arrived early to continue reinforcing the pieces, more than anything the

piñata became long and we couldn't find the slightest hope that we would be able to finish
it, but even so we continued with the insistence of finishing it, but the expenses rose each
time and we did not have an income as such. So, we had to put our portfolio and then
instead of seeing an income we saw the opposite, that's how it came to mind to talk to the
teacher about this little problem and that's when she proposed that we request a certain
amount of support from each one of our classmates, which seemed like a good idea to us,
so we ended up collecting a total of $226, which in fact ended up being left over at the end
of the piñata.

Once the pieces were finished, we could start assembling them, but it was not going to be
so easy since there was a small problem and that was that the wings were very heavy and
made against the weight, which would cause the piñata to break, so we had to figure out
how to give it a support and it was then that Diego suggested that we divide a thick
cardboard support that they had brought to glue one on each side and thus they would be
linked so to speak so that the counterweight that the wings had would not affect the
piñata, but it had to be reinforced with a lot of tape and newspaper since if they were not
well sealed it would cause the supports that we put inside to end up being ruined. Having
already made the figure, we started with the decoration, which I think was one of the
most difficult things since it was all made with crepe paper, so we had to be careful with
the amount of glue we applied. The best thing about this was that we received help from
several colleagues who were not even interested in the pinatas, but it was a nice touch
that some people helped us, I think we would not have finished so quickly without those
supports. One day before the delivery, we had to convince most of the teachers to lend us
their class to continue with the piñata since the structure was complicated. The good
thing is that most of the teachers had compassion on us and left us their classes to finish
our work.
I hope to say that we finished it a day before but no, it was quite a lot of wallpaper
even with help it took time, so we agreed to meet even earlier to finish it and deliver it,
we had until 3 in the afternoon to deliver it, so we had to speed up the process.
