The heart is a hollow organ,
eminently muscular, it drives blood
through the blood vessels.

It consists of four cavities, two


posterosuperior, the atria or atria,
right and left, and two
anteroinferior, the right and left
ventricles.
DOMINANCE
• Coronary dominance refers to which
coronary artery provides the main blood
supply to the posterior area of the heart.
Normally, there are two main coronary
arteries: the left coronary artery and the
right coronary artery.

• Right dominance: (Up to 85% of patients),


this is when the posterior descending artery
arises from the right coronary artery.

• Left dominance: begins when it arises from


the circumflex artery.: Begins when the
circumflex artery arises
