Recommendations for choosing fabric


Knit fabric of medium density. In terms of fibrous composition: natural (cotton),
mixed (cotton + polyester, etc.). Type of material: single knit, pique, interlock.

Recommendations for the size of allowances
for connecting seams - 7 mm;
for the bottom of the sleeve - 20 mm;
for the bottom - 20 mm;

The following equipment will be needed for


sewing
4-thread overlock;
Iron with steam;
Flat seam machine;
Ironing board;
Threads, needles, pins;
Tailor's scissors for fabric;

Technological sequence of assembling


Join with temporary stitches and stitch the shoulder seams on the overlock.
Finish the neckline with welt.
Stitch the neckline welt along the side cuts.
Press the seam allowances.
Iron the welt in half (wrong side to wrong side). Join with temporary stitches, and
then stitch it into the neckline from the front side. If desired, the seam
allowances can be topstitched onto the neckline.

Join with temporary stitches and stitch the side seams on the overlock.
Join with temporary stitches and stitch side seams of sleeves.
Join with temporary stitches and set in sleeves into armholes.
Finish the sleeve bottoms with a hem with an open overcast edge using a flat
seam machine. or using an overlock, with a flat look seam.

Finish the bottom of the garment with a hem with an open overcast edge using a
flat seam machine. or using an overlock, with a flat look seam.
Perform the final irron.
