iFlash 1200 COM to RJ45 Adaptor

Configuration Guide
1. Preparation Before Configuration

(1) Turn on the PC, turn on the analyzer, don’t open iFlash software.
(2) Prepare the adaptor package, the adaptor package contains a power supply, a
COM cable, a LAN cable and the adaptor module.
(3) Connect the power supply to the adaptor, connect the COM cable to the
connector, the other end of the COM cable connects to the analyzer, and the LAN
cable connects one end to the adaptor and the other end to the PC. Make sure the
LAN port on the PC is working properly.

(4) After all connections are securely and firmly connected, use tape to fix the
adaptor to the side/back of the analyzer or any other position for you likening. Make
sure the cables aren’t easily interfered during operation of the analyzer.
2. IP Address Configuration

(1) Configure the IPv4 address for the LAN port from the adaptor on the PC as
shown below:
IP Address: 192.168.0.201
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

(2) After Configuration, double check if the configuration is successful.


3. Config File Editing

(1) Go to D: > iFlash 1200 > MCApp, open CommConfigiF10.ini

(2) Edit [M1] information in CommConfigiF10.ini as shown below, and save after
editing.

(3) After editing, double check if the file is saved and the information was input
correctly.

4. Configuration Done

(1) After the configuration is finished, restart the PC and instrument, check the IP
address and CommConfigiF10.ini file to see if everything was configured correctly.
(2) Open iFlash software, check if the analyzer and PC is successfully connected and
communicating, if not, contact YHLO service.
