1.0 INTRODUCTION
The proposal is to request provision from the Academic Office for Faculty of Technology, Design
and Management (FTDM) to organize a charity prom night dinner for all semester 4 students of
Diploma of Business Management (DBM) and Diploma of Information Technology (DIT). This
project provides 20% continuous assessment on Business Communication (ABD 2033) course.
The marks for the project will be given based on the students' efforts and performance during
managing the whole project. Students learn to do paper works and how to manage the event from
the beginning until finish. Business Communication is important for students because it provides
them necessary skills for workplace communication after they enter society.

The primary goal of this program is to raise funds for a specific cause or organization. Attendees
can contribute through ticket sales, donations, or participation in fundraising activities during the
event. Other than that, another purpose of this program is to bring people together in a more
intimate setting, fostering conversation and connection over a meal.

By raising funds for animals, individuals and organizations contribute to creating a world where
animals are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. These efforts address immediate needs,
prevent future suffering, and promote a more harmonious coexistence between humans and
animals.

2.0 OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the program are:
i. To equip students with practical, real-life experiences that enhance their organizational and
communication skills.
ii. To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing
students to excel in diverse organizational environments by mastering crucial
communication and organizational skills.
iii. To cultivate a sense of appreciation for the environment through active participation in
donation activities that benefit the community.
iv. To develop good relationship between students and University’s management team.

3.0 EVENT INFORMATION
This event will be involving all Semester 4 active students who is taking the Business
Communication (ABD 2033) course from Diploma of Business Management (DBM) and
Diploma of Information Technology (DIT).

6.0 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
