Job Description:
Hivetech Vietnam Technology Corporation is seeking a proficient and detail-oriented
Power BI Developer/Analyst to join data analytics and reporting team. The candidate
will be responsible for developing and maintaining data visualizations, reports, and
dashboards using Power BI to provide insights that drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports,
dashboards, apps, and data models in Power BI.
- Utilize Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
tasks.
- Work with various database systems, including MSSQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL,
… to extract and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand
data needs as well as with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-
related challenges and optimize data analytics processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports for performance.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and debugging of issues related to data
extraction, transformation, and visualization
- Integrate data from various sources and transform it into usable formats for
analysis.
- Create and maintain automated data refresh schedules.
- Interpret data to provide meaningful insights and trends.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and related
technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Professional experience in Power BI tool and environment.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI architecture, administration, and security.
- Experience with Power BI Report Server and Power BI Premium features.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience in data analysis, data transformation, and data modeling (DAX, and
SQL…).
- Substantial knowledge and working experience with Power BI, SQL, DAX,
DAX Studio, Power Query, functional/unit testing as part of technology support
BI.
- Able to connect to any datasource (incls APIs, RDBMS, Postgres, HANA,
Azure Synapse, sharepoint, excel etc)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills to understand business requirements and
present findings.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
