I. CONTENT:
CONTENT STANDARDS:
The learner demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight
management to promote community fitness.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
The learner maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical
activity participation of the community.
LEARNING COMPETENCIES:
Undertakes physical activity and physical fitness assessments.

At the end of the study, the students are able to:
a)Execute the basic locomotor; non-locomotor movements and basic steps in
folk dance needed to produce a folk-based festival dance
b)Identify the basic steps in folk-based festival dance.

DIRECTION: Below are the basic folk dance steps in 2/4 time which are usually used
in folk-based festival dancing. Supply the missing step pattern and counting of each
basic step enumerated.
