Top Down analysis review & Examples

Top-down analysis is where you analyse a chart looking at the higher time frames first.
THis will allow you to get a clear view of the overall market structure. After the larger
trend and structure of the price action has been identified, you will then look into the
smaller details on lower time frames to make actual trade entries and exits.

This will allow you to find good aset pairs to trade. You may not be able to trade BTC
every day, but you may be able to find a good trade in another coin pair. Don’t limit
yourself if you don’t see a good entry for your favorite pair.

Important Things To Remember

1. Make sure to color code your S/R lines for each time frame!
2. Higher time frames provide more significant S/R Levels
3. Always look for a reaction when price comes near to a S/R level
4. ALWAYS use MC to determine how to trade S/R levels

Dynamic Support & Resistance

Moving Averages

● A moving average (MA) is an indicator that is commonly used in technical

analysis.
● The reason for calculating the moving average of an asset is to help
smooth out the price data over a specified period of time by creating a
constantly updated average price.
● A simple moving average (SMA) is a calculation that takes the arithmetic
mean of a given set of prices over the specific number of days in the past;
for example, over the previous 15, 30, 100, or 200 days.
● Exponential moving averages (EMA) is a weighted average that gives
greater importance to the price of a stock on more recent days, making it
an indicator that is more responsive to new information.

I Prefer to use EMAs for trading Crypto

● Exponential Moving Averages act as dynamic S&R levels

● Exponential moving Averages act as buy/sell signals
● Exponential moving Averages act as bull/bear trend indications
