1.1 Summary

The introduction of configuration process concerning environment and equipment, communication mode as well as
data types for the connection between Delta Driver in VTScada and our PLC products (AS, AH, DVP 3, DVP or MC
series) is detailed in this manual.

Step 2. Double click the execution file to setup and install for the first installation.

Enter the serial number of software license in the Installation Key field. If a hardware license is required, please
refer to the appendix for more details.

Select the proper operating system bit size that matches your PC.

After finished, the installation procedure would start. (The installation is generally time-consuming which is normal.)

Step 4. When the installation is complete, the following window would be displayed.

Step 5. After clicking Done, the following window would pop up. Click OK and reboot the computer to finish the
installation process.

Step 2. Right click on VTScada and select Uninstall/Change to start uninstalling the program.

Step 3. After the application is enabled, click Tag Browser display the following page.

Step 4. Right click the pre-set Tag group and select New Child to display the Select Type window. Then
select Delta Driver from the Drivers list.

Step 6. Select the desired model type (AS/ AH/ DVP 3/ DVP Series...) on the Options tab page.

Step 7. Select the desired communication mode (Modbus RTU/ Modbus ASCII/ Modbus TCP) and click
Apply, then click Ok to finish.
Three examples based on different types of Hardware and Communications are given as follows:
1. Select to add the desired communication method from the Ports list of the tag group.

8. Switching ON/OFF in the Y0.0 field in ISPSoft would also change the value and the ON/OFF button in
VTScada as shown in follows.

9. By means of the changes of values, the synchronization with equipment can be checked here.

Dongle Hardware License Key

A.1 Attention
Since only the following authorized area are supported by software license of VTScada : Greek, Portland,
Israel, Canada, Hungary, Australia, Korea, Italy, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Netherland, Japan,
Sweden, Germany, France, England and United States, dongle hardware license key would be required for
other countries and area.
Step 1. Prepare the Dongle Key and the serial number accompanied with the key.
(Note: DO NOT attach the Dongle key to the USB port on your PC before completing step 2.)
Step 2. Run the installation of VTScada as administrator and input the serial number in
(The installation must be completed before you start installing Dongle Key program.)

Step 3. A reminder for PC rebooting would be displayed after VTScada installation is complete.
Step 4. After rebooting, attach the Dongle key to the computer’s USB port.
Step 5. Activate VTScada and confirm that words of “4 hours” is not displayed behind the title VTScada
Application Manager, which means the authentication is successful as the following figure shows.
Step 6. If the installation of Dongle Key driver fails, please repeat step 1 to 4.
