Why do I desire to continue service on the Hempfield Board of School Directors? Youth are a passion of mine. They are the leaders of tomorrow. Education is a prime and vital ingredient for success in life. All students are entitled to a quality education to prepare them for their future as responsible, contributing members of society. Through this service to the community, I have the honored opportunity to support and encourage the premier programs that Hempfield provides to its students through academics, athletics and all the extracurricular activities, music, and the performing arts programs. I believe HSD provides an all-around quality education for all students. The athletics, performing arts, and many other programs offered in the district are a part of my life. I attend and support the youth of the district at many of these events. I believe that my years as a parent, grandparent, and employee qualify me to serve the community in the decision making that will continue the outstanding all around education for our youth.
