Do you want to keep your feet warm in
the autumn and winter months and be
trendy? Buy a pair of ‘Wellies’ to keep
you dry and to look nice when it starts
raining and snowing.
Wellies are boots made
from rubber and they’re
waterproof, which
means that they don’t
let water in. They are
also known as ‘rubber
boots’ and ‘Wellington boots’. They’re
usually up to the knee, but there are also

find them in any colour you can imagine
and with lots of different patterns and

Union Jack (the flag of Great Britain).
Today, people wear these boots in many

1815 and that’s why today they are called
‘Wellies’ after the Duke. They are very
