Term 2 Week 2 Reflection

This week my aim was to be as organized as I could before my classes. To that I believe I
have improved somewhat but I have come to the realization that one of my strengths is my
adaptability and creativity. Evidence of this was seen as I was preparing my second lesson
plan for my 4th years on Wednesday. Originally, the use of cards in the set induction was
mostly to pull from prior knowledge and have the students deduce where to place the
rational numbers based on hints I would have given them as a form of guided discovery but I
realized using the symbols for integers 'Z' and the symbol for rational numbers 'Q' on the
cards could also be useful in the lesson although it was not a necessary component of the
card.

In addition, to my own self discovery and attempts at being more organized, I was also more
assertive in my classes and found that my students overall work ethic improved.
