I. INTRODUCTION
If you get an invitation to have a bagel, a banitsa, some chana poori, some changua, some
chilaquiles, scrambled eggs, gallo pinto, jianbing, kosai, mandazi, oatmeal, shakshuka, or vegemite,
would you know what the invitation is for? Well, it all depends on where in the world you live or are
from, you would recognize these options as breakfast foods, so it must be breakfast time.
According to the Mayo Clinic—a famous medical institution located in the United States
of America—to decrease the probability of heart trouble, there’s one meal you shouldn’t skip. You
will agree that most people in the world grew up hearing their mothers say that breakfast was the
most important meal of the day. And for those of you who love history, the notion that “Breakfast is
the most important meal of the day” was invented in the 19th century by Seventh-day Adventists—
James Caleb and John Harvey Kellogg—to sell their newly invented breakfast cereal. If you have
doubts, Google it.
