Your Role

So, to help us achieve the above you need to:

● Perform manual and functional testing of software applications to identify defects and
issues.
● Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
● Conduct database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
● Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and validate data from databases.
● Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and report
issues.
● Document and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely
resolution.
● Assist in the development of automated test scripts (automation testing is a plus).
● Participate in regression testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing as
needed.
● Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
● Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA.

Requirements

We think you will fare well if you meet most of the following requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


● Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual and functional testing.
● Strong experience in database testing and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
● Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a good-to-have.
● Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
● ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred.
