Located off the northwest tip of Bird`s Head Peninsula on the island of Papua, Raja Ampat, or the
Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1,500 small island, cays, and shoals surrounding the four
main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo. The Raja Ampat archipelago is part of Coral
Triangle, which contains the richest marine biodiversity on earth.
Raja Ampat Regency is a new regency which separated from Sorong Regency in 2004. It
encompasses more than 40,000 km persquare of land and sea, and also include Cendrawasih Bay, the
largest marine national park in Indonesia. The oceanic natural resources around Raja Ampat give it
significant potential as a tourist area. Many sources place Raja Ampat as one of their top ten most popular
places for diving, whilst it retains the number one ranking in terms of underwater biodiversity. Diversity
there is considerably greater than any other area sampled in the Coral Triangle, composed of Indonesia,
Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Island and Timor Leste.
The Eiffel Tower is a famous landmark in Paris. It was built between 1887 and 1889 as the entrance arch
for a fair called the Expositon Universelle. It cost 35 million poundsterlings to build. It is 300 meters tall,
but this does not include the 24 m antenna on the top; the total height of the structure is 324 m. There are
also 1,665 steps inside the Eiffel Tower. It weighs about 10,000 tons. There are 20,000 sparkling lights
and 80 kilometres of cables covering the structure. The weight of paint used is 60 tons and surface to be
painted is 250,000 metres persquare. The paper used to print the visitor`s tickets in a year weighs 2 tons.
Three separate colors of paint are used on the Tower, in order to enhance the impression of height, with
the darkest on the bottom and the lightest at the top.

Masjid Sultan Suriansyah is a historical mosque. Built 300 years ago, this building is the oldest
mosque in South Kalimantan. The mosque is located in the North Kuin Village Banjarmasin. It was built
in the reign of Sultan Suriansyah known as Pangeran Samudera.
Pangeran Samudera was the first Banjarnese King who converted into Islam. This mosque was
found on the bank of the Kuin River, near Kampung Keraton, which was destroyed by the Dutch
Colonial.
The construction of Masjid Sultan Suriansyah was unique. The roof is layered. It took the
Banjar`s past architecture before Islam came. Different from any other old mosques in Banjar, the
mighrab has its own roof, separated from the main building.
