Groundfloor

Not too much things – there must be enough space for people, animals, barrels to be moved to the
backyard or back rooms of the house.

It can be wooden – logged or timbered wall, but preferably made from stone

It is colder in here, there can be bigger humidity and mould or moss appears on walls.
There can be rats, mice, dogs coming.

Underneath cellars have vaults so they can carry a lot more weight.

Main doors should be good looking as they are representation of the wealth.

HALLWAY
* rather empty
* only necessities like ladder, rope, light, bucket – not standing in a way
* stairs to upper parts of the house

KITCHEN
* quite big
* stove with/without ovens for baking
* working tables
* pottery
* kitchen utensils – cutlery, bowls, plates, pans, pots, jugs, cups
* roast
* buckets and baskets
* water
* some food, but not too much, to not get rotten
* eggs
* hangers
* cloths for drying
* spices
* herbs
* shovel and some stuff for the oven
* little trunk for hiding more pricy stuff like tin pottery
* bench and stools
* cutting boards
* hanging light
* bird cage or nets
* broom
* small windows
MAZHOUSE
A place to drink and have fun, no flowers or decorations are needed, but nice wall paintings or some
accent regarding the name of the tavern.

* big chandeliers hanging and small oil lamps on tables
* no standing candleholders – they are standing in a way
* tables with bowls of food, bread on cutting boards, knives and spoons
* jugs and chalices, cups for drinking
* stools and benches (not really chairs) no cushions
* some cloth on floor (after spilled liquids)
* rests of food
* bones?
* bowls and scraps on floor
*dogs, cats, mice, rats…
* some barrel (empty)
* dice, instruments
* broom
* fireplace sometimes with big pot or roast
* some place for dancing
* no privacy

Fireplace should be combined ideally with stove in the kitchen (one part in kitchen, one in
mazhouse)

Windows should be with window shutters!

WORKSHOP
* working tables close to the windows
* as big windows as possible
* bench
* stool or chair for scribe or more sophisticated profession
* tools
* trunks to lock the most precious things

STORAGE
A place for everything, that is useful and used daily, but often stands in a way
might be of different size
