A deadly redemption

"Let's go, guys. It's getting late. My dad will kill me if he finds out I'm not home
now," Fred said to convince his friends to go back. "You're more afraid of the
place than of your dad, aren't you? Don't worry, we won't delve too deep. Even
I'm afraid of ghosts being here," Kay said. "It's a very old and almost completely
broken-down place. It's impossible for anyone to survive this building's
collapse," John said.
This trio of friends were inside a broken-down building late at night. Their love
of adventure and curiosity had led them on trips like this. When they
discovered this place on their family trip, they were amazed and decided to
explore it no matter what. "The place is big. Let's split up now, and if anyone
needs help, call me," Kay said. The friends parted ways, each taking a direction.
While Kay was exploring the first floor, John went to the ground floor, and
Fred went upstairs to discover what remained on the second floor.
The advantage in terms of lighting was Fred's, as in addition to the lamp he had
with him, and this floor was without a ceiling, which allowed moonlight to
sneak in and facilitate the exploration process . There wasn't much for the place
to explore, as it was certain that many exploration teams had come before and
taken what was worth taking. These were Fred's thoughts, but as he walked in
one corner of the place, he found a notebook enveloped in a rough layer of
dust. Farad wiped the notebook to find its title "Assassin's Punishment." Fred
was about to open the notebook, but his phone vibrated, receiving a call from
Kay. Fred answered the call and got shocked by what kay told him, "Guys, we're
in trouble. Farad, your father is here. Can you believe he has tracking devices in
places? Don't worry, there's a hole on the back side for us to escape from and
return home." The friends met at the agreed-upon location after the call and
returned home together. On the way, Kay asked his friends if they found
anything exciting. John's answer was that he didn't find anything except debris,
while Fredd remained silent about finding the notebook, afraid that Kay would
take it, even though he knows Kay's hatred for reading.
The three families of friends gathered in a large house to spend the vacation.
Kai, Fred, and John were in separate rooms to make sure their children were
asleep instead of staying up all night. Fred went to his room and, due to his
inability to sleep, he remembered the notebook he found and decided to read
its contents. At first, he thought it was a novel because of its title, but as soon as
he started reading, he realized that the notebook was a memoir. "February 20,
2019, that is 16 years ago. Well, I'll start now."

" Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 11:06 PM, the target , Abraham Donny, the
mayor of Electropolis and a candidate for the presidency of Valletory. Any
suggestions on how to kill him?" said the masked man, addressing someone in
his talkie walkie. "Any method that will make him stop breathing will do the
job," the woman he was addressing replied. "And how much is my reward?"
asked the masked man. "1.5 million Valtoors. Now go, hunter," the woman

replied. The hunter, the nickname of the masked man, jumped from the top of
the building he was observing his target from and held onto an electrical wire,
swinging to the balcony of Donny's house. He used his tools to open the
balcony door and found his target sitting in front of him, as if he was waiting
for him. "Hello, Mr. Donny. I think you're expecting me, so I guess you know
why I'm here, right?" said the hunter. "Yes, I know. I hope you'll do your job
quickly," Donny replied. The hunter chose to use a silenced pistol, aimed at
Donny's head, and said, "Say your prayers now." As the target finished reciting
his prayers, the hunter was about to pull the trigger, but a woman, Donny's
wife, came out of the door behind him and pushed her husband out of the way,
taking the bullet instead of him,his wife's body fell in front of his eyes, leading
to a burst of anger from Donny, who began to attack the hunter. ⟨Confronting
an angry man in such a narrow place is difficult. I must use my katana⟩,
thought the hunter to himself as he dodged Donny's blows. As he tried to draw
his sword, Donny's punch cracked his mask, but the hunter quickly cut off
Donny's head with a swift movement. Donny's head swayed into the room
where the woman he had killed moments ago was located, with a closet facing
him. The hunter heard a noise coming from the closet and, as he approached it,
heard the sound of police cars approaching. When he turned around, he
noticed a phone on the bed, and learned that Donny's wife had called the
police. He left from the same place he entered, and some police officers noticed
him and chased him. However, he climbed up the building and jumped
between the roofs until he entered one of the empty houses, where he was able
to hide his tracks and rest for a while. He took off his mask, revealing the face of

a young man in his twenties with medium-length black hair and sharp blue eyes
in a square-shaped face with sharp features in general and very white skin. His
phone vibrated to receive a message from his friend Ravi, asking about him,
"Are you still awake, Shozo?" Shozo replied, "No I'm not , but the hunter is,"
but he deleted the message and returned home, ignoring his friend's message.
The next morning, Shozo woke up late for his classes at the university. He
opened his closet to change out of the hunting clothes he had slept in and hid
them in a secret drawer in the closet. He hurriedly set off to the university and
on his way, he was surprised to see a crowd of people gathered under one of the
buildings. He passed by a man and asked him if this was a strike or something
similar, but the man told him that there was a girl who wanted to jump from
the top of the building.

Upon hearing the news, Shozo quickly rushed to the rooftop of the building
and upon arrival, he saw the girl taking a step towards the edge and beginning
to fall. He hurriedly ran towards her and caught her, pulled her back and began
to scold her, asking for an explanation for what she was doing. She didn't
respond and just cried. Shozo approached her angrily, but she used her hands to
tell him to stay away with sign language. At that moment, Shozo realized that
she couldn't speak.

"Okay, if you're not going to bother me with your screaming, then I'm sorry for
what I'm going to do," he said. After those words, he carried the girl who was
hitting him to defend herself, but he continued to descend without paying

attention to her resistance and headed towards the nearest restaurant after
asking the crowd for permission to take care of her.
He ordered food and gave it to her. "I can understand sign language, so you can
talk to me," Shozo said. She signaled to him that she didn't trust him, so he left
her alone. After finishing the food, Shozo accompanied the girl on a walk and
asked her to write her name on a piece of paper. She complied and wrote her
name as Elian. Shozo then told her his name as well. He asked her if there was a
place she could stay, but she didn't answer, so he knew that she had nowhere
else to go. He offered her to stay at his house, and since she didn't have any
other options, she accepted his offer.
They arrived at Shozo's small house, consisting of a bathroom, kitchen, living
room, and bedroom. Shozo left the bedroom for Elian to have her privacy.
Before she entered the room, he asked her, "Did your family abandon you? Is
that why you attempted suicide?" But she told him that the reason for her
suicide attempt was the death of her family. "Well, there are things we have in
common then. Was it an accident, and were you the only survivor?" Shozo
asked. "I was the only survivor, but it wasn't an accident. Last night, a masked
man came and assassinated my parents. I was hiding in the closet, so I survived.
I hope that satisfies your curiosity," Elian answered through her sign language,
an answer that would change Shozo's life forever after he found out that the girl
he saved ,he was the reason for her misery.

It has been a week since Elian and Shozo started living together. The days were
similar, and the two of them only communicated when Shozo called Elian for
meals. Elian never left her room, while Shozo left for university.
"Elian, it's time for lunch, come on," said Shozo after knocking on the door of
her room. Shozo went to the kitchen to wait for Elian, as he did in previous
days, but unusually, Elian was late in joining him. Shozo called her again, but
there was no answer. He waited for over ten minutes in front of the door, but
when he lost his patience, he broke the door handle and entered the room. He
was surprised to find Elian still sleeping and when he tried to wake her up, she
didn't respond. Shozo made sure that Elian was breathing, but he noticed that
her heartbeat was slowing down. Quickly, he called for an ambulance.
The ambulance arrived after seven minutes of waiting and worrying . When
shozo wanted to accompany the ambulance, he received a call from the
assassination agency that he is a part of. After a moment of hesitation, Shozo
decided to leave Elian in the care of the ambulance and attend the meeting. He
put on his suit and mask and went to the agency. The agency's office was
located inside a large investment company for secrecy. Shozo was surprised by
the arrival of all the assassins affiliated with the agency, the five assassins
gathered in one of the company's floors . Then the manager of the company
and the agency, Ethan Black, and his assistant, Eva Frost, who used to talk to
Shozo during his missions, arrived. Quietness took over the hall, and while the
five assassins were waiting for the meeting to start, Eva revealed the bounty
board on the wall, and the manager said "Thank you for coming. Today's
meeting will be unusual as we will be rearranging the bounty board. The

Falcon has been sitting in first place for six months with a reward of 27 million
Valtor, followed by the Crow with a reward of 22 million Valtor. After that
comes the Fox with a reward of 16 million Valtor. In fourth place is the Hunter
with a reward of 11 million Valtor, and in last place, we have the Phoenix with a
reward of 8 million Valtor." Shozo thought to himself, "My reward must have
gone up. I'm sure it's because I killed Elian's father, who was a very important
figure." He remembered Elian and asked for permission to leave to check on
her. The manager replied, "Do you have something more important than the
meeting, Hunter?" but Shojo answered with only a sense of boredom. After
thanking him for his good services, the manager allowed Shozo to leave. As he
was leaving, the Falcon stopped him and said, "There will be a mission in the
future that will bring us together in one team. I hope you won't feel bored
then." Shozo left without replying to the Falcon, feeling a kind of threat in his
tone.
Shozo arrived at his home, changed his clothes, and headed to the hospital. He
was recognized by one of the paramedics who came to take Elian after Shozo
asked about her room. The paramedic accompanied him and reassured him
that her condition is stable now. However, there is no doctor to oversee her due
to the large number of patients and shortage of doctors. While Shozo was
talking to the paramedic, a young woman in her twenties wearing a doctor's
uniform quickly entered, greeted Shozo and the paramedic, and went into
Elian's room. Afterward, Shozo realized that this doctor, whose name is Isabella
Winter, will be supervising Elian's case. The doctor requested the preparation

of Elian's medical file, and when Shozo was asked for her full name, the only
answer he got was "Yakujin Elian."
The doctor Isabella took Shozo's phone number to tell him about Elian's
condition. When she registered his number, she asked him for his full name, to
which he replied, "Yakujin Shozo." When the doctor noticed the similarity in
the last name, she asked him about the nature of the relationship between him
and Elian. He told her that Elian was his younger sister. Shozo left the hospital
and returned home. Upon arrival, he received a message from his friend Ravi
saying, "Hey Shozo , the exams are approaching man. Do you want to study
together? You have been neglecting your studies these days. Wasn't your dream
to become a detective like your father?" Shozo replied, "Thank you bro , but I
will only distract you from your studies because I have not reviewed anything."
After this message, Shozo immersed himself in deep thought, especially after
his friend mentioned his father and said, "Am I doing the right thing, Dad?" He
closed his eyes to rest after this long day.
Shozo woke up to the ringing of his phone, receiving a call from an unknown
number. He answered the call to find out that it was Doctor Isabella who was
calling. Shozo was tense about the reason for the call, thinking that something
bad had happened to Elian. But Isabella reassured him after informing him of
the reason for her call, which was that she knew the cause of Elian's recent
emotional disturbance, which was due to a traumatic event. When the doctor
asked Shozo about the cause of the trauma, he couldn't find anything to say,
and sadness took over his face as he remembered the night of his parents'
murder. He forgot he was on the phone, but when he heard the doctor's voice

asking if he was still there, he regained his composure and told her that they had
recently lost their parents, which was undoubtedly the cause of Elian's
emotional distress.

Isabella expressed her sympathy upon hearing this news and promised Shozo
that she would do everything she could to help Elian. Shozo thanked the doctor
and ended the call, thinking about how to make Elian happy. He decided to go
to her house and search for something that might help him in his mission.
Since Elian's house was still under the police guard, he decided to go in as the
Hunter, saying to himself while wearing the suit , "We messed up together, so
let's try to fix it together, Hunter."
Shozo arrived at the location of Eilian's house where he committed his heinous
crime. He observed the police guarding the place and decided to enter through
the same way he did that night, through the balcony since there were no guards
on that side. Shozo broke into the house and started searching. Since Eilian was
a girl of no more than twelve years old, he thought he would find many toys,
but he didn't find what he expected, which surprised him. However, he didn't
give up hope and continued searching for anything that might help him.

Then he came across Eilian's father's office and found a small library with a
shelf labeled "Eilian's books." Shozo learned that Eilian loved reading and took
the books from that shelf with him. On his way out, Shozo was surprised to see
a picture on the desk that showed Eilian's father and Shozo's father together.
"My father was a detective, so it's natural that there's a connection between him

and Eilian's father, who was a famous mayor and politician. But it seems that
their relationship was stronger than I thought, given that this picture is on this
office," Shozo said to himself. His curiosity and desire to know more about his
father's relationship with the late mayor grew stronger.
Shozo searched through the files in the office for something that would satisfy
his curiosity, but he heard footsteps approaching the house. He increased his
speed in searching, but he didn't find anything useful. What surprised him was
that despite the presence of documents related to the mayor and his wife, he
did not find anything related to Eilian. However, he did not care about that and
hurried out of the house.
Upon returning home, Shozo did not take a break but immediately began
taking out the things and furniture in Elian's room to renovate and decorate it.
This did not take much time due to the small size of the room, and when he
finished, he ordered new items. The next day, Shozo decided to call Dr. Isabella
to ask if he could spend the upcoming nights with Elian to be by her side when
she woke up. At first, the doctor hesitated to accept his request, but his
persistence forced her to help him obtain permission from the hospital
administration. Shozo thanked the doctor and ended the call, then decided to
buy a motorcycle since he did not have any means of transportation to bring
Elian back home.
Shozo took everything he needed to stay in the hospital and passed by a
motorcycle shop to buy one. Despite having a lot of money, Shozo did not buy
an expensive motorcycle to help him hide his identity as a hunter. He arrived at
the hospital and met with Isabella, who accompanied him to Elian's room.

Some paramedics brought a bed to the room for Shozo to use. "So, Doctor, do
you expect her to wake up soon?" Shozo asked. Isabella replied, "I cannot give
you a definite answer to your question. Cases like this can last for years or for a
few days. I'm sorry I can't answer you, I hope she regains consciousness soon."
Shozo thanked the doctor for her honesty. At that moment, Shozo received an
important notification from the assassination agency. He was about to request
permission to leave, but Isabella spoke first, saying, "I apologize, something
urgent came up. I'll be back as soon as I'm done." "I also forgot something at
home, I'll be back as soon as I get it," Shozo replied.
Shozo went to his house to put on his outfit and headed towards his target,
which was located in a mental hospital. "Hello Eva," Shozo said when he
received a signal from the talkee walkie. "Hello, hunter. Your target is Sebastian
Hayes, an acquaintance of the director. He has recently entered the mental
hospital, and the director is afraid that he may expose some of our secrets since
he was one of our clients. Your reward will be 1.2 million Valtor, and you will
be alone on this mission," Eva said. "The fox will be my partner in this mission,
won't she?" Shozo said after seeing the fox jumping on the rooftops heading
towards the same destination as Shozo. Shozo increased his speed and caught

The two assassins reached their target and the fox said, "Very well, then. You
distract the guards while I search for Sebastian's location." Shozo jumped from
the hospital roof and landed in front of the hospital gate. Two guards were
guarding the front gate of the hospital, and when they saw Shozo, they felt
threatened and called for backup as he approached them slowly. The guards
pulled out their guns and threatened Shozo, who responded to their threats
with quick blows to their necks that knocked them unconscious. Backup
arrived and the pursuit began. Shozo used his rope gun to climb to the roof to
lure all the guards up there. As planned, the guards followed him to the roof,
and at that moment, Shozo thought he had given enough time for the fox to
complete her mission. He swung towards a window in one of the patient's
rooms and entered, but found something unexpected. "Is that you, Derek?
Have you come back? I knew you wouldn't leave me alone," said the patient in
the room. Shozo replied, "No, Silian. My father died a long time ago and will
not return to life." He headed towards the door of the room, leaving his father's
wife behind.
"What about my baby, where is my baby? Do you know where my baby is, sir?"
said Sillian with a sad voice and expression. Shozo turned to her and asked,
"Which baby are you talking about?" "They took my baby, they hid him from
me, it was his mistake, his mistake alone. Derek, you fool, you left me alone and
they took our baby. I want to see my baby now," Sillian cried out in sadness.

Some of the guards arrived at the commotion and found Shozo standing at the
door of the room. They surrounded him, but he quickly jumped out of the
window and escaped. As he ran away, he was joined by a fox who sarcastically
said, "Mission accomplished, it seems you did a good job since I didn't meet any
guards." "I felt like a monkey, the hunter is supposed to catch the prey, not run
away. Well then, goodbye, it's time to return to my second life," said Shozo, to
which the fox replied, "Speaking of your second life, don't you find it strange
that we're going in the same direction?" The two stopped and stared at each
other before bursting out laughing. "I'll stop here, you go ahead, and I'll go
back to my house later," Shozo said.
The fox said goodbye to him, and when he was sure that she was gone, he
headed towards his house, changed his clothes, and hid his uniform in a secret
closet. He rode his bike, and went to the hospital to spend the night there. He
found the doctor Isabella leaving the hospital to go back home, so he greeted
her, "Did you just return from your home? Don't you think you're late in
bringing the thing you forgot?" Isabella asked. Shozo replied, saying, "I dozed
off a little. I don't feel comfortable when I don't sleep in my house, so I think
I'll stay up. Eliane likes reading books, so I brought some of her books. I want
to bring her a new book, but I don't know her taste, so can you help me since
you seem to me as a book lover?" "Hmm, you're right that I love reading, but I
don't know what she might like. I love fantasy books like Demon rings and The
Dance of Death, but I have an idea. Why don't you write a book for her? It will

accelerated. Shozo became tense and began calling for paramedics. A nurse
quickly came and gave Eilian a breathing apparatus for the difficulty she was
experiencing in breathing. Shozo felt helpless and was on the verge of losing
Eilian, the girl he had promised to protect with all his strength. He could not
do anything but hold her hand and wish for her condition to stabilize. At that
moment, Eilian's eyes slowly began to open, and when she saw Shozo, she

Shozo embraced Eilian as if she was the dearest person to him in this life. Then

funny. I'm actually 23 years old, so I'm not as young as you think. There's not

Shozo and Isabella both returned to Elian's room, and then Isabella left to take
Elian for tests while Shozo waited in the room. It wasn't long before Elian and

test results. After an hour of waiting, Isabella was called by a nurse to get the
testing results. The doctor left the room for a while, and when she returned,

himself many questions when he heard the name "Harrison Elian," which bore
his deceased father's last name.

"You're right, it's not important. Goodbye, doctor," said Shozo, and hurried off
to where his bike was waiting for him, with Eilian. When he arrived at Eilian's
side, he stared at her, noticing things he hadn't seen before, like the similarity in
their black hair and skin color. He began to believe that this girl could really be
his sister, but he controlled himself and asked her, "Have you ridden a
motorcycle before?" She shook her head to tell him that she hadn't, so Shozo
said, "Don't worry, hold on tight. I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride." The two of
them got on the bike, and Shozo headed for home. Eilian remained tense
throughout the journey, keeping her eyes closed out of fear, but with Shozo
close by, she felt safe and remembered his promise to protect her. Eilian became
courageous and opened her eyes. The view wasn't anything special, just a road

The air she was exposed to and being close to Shozo made her feel free and safe
in a way she hadn't felt before. A broad smile appeared on her face, turning her
fear into happiness.
Shozo and Eilian arrived at their house, and while they were going up, Shozo
said, "I have a surprise for you. Come quickly." Eilian was excited to know what
Shozo had prepared for her. He covered her eyes and took her to her room after
it had been renovated and redecorated. When Shozo uncovered Eilian's eyes,
she looked surprised to see a larger and new bed, a small desk, and a library with
many books. "I don't know what kind of books you prefer, so I diversified. So,
what do you think? Did you like the room?" Shozo asked. "I love it. How did
you know that I love reading?" Eilian asked using sign language. Shozo replied,
"I'm a student at a detective university, and knowing things like this is my job.

sent me hundreds of messages." Eilian was surprised to hear this name, and
when Shozo noticed her, he told her that Ravi is his close friend. Shozo checked
his messages with Ravi, but he was surprised not to find anything. He said,
"That's strange. I thought he would send at least fifty messages. Could it be that
he found another friend? Oh wait, my phone is not connected to Wi-Fi." As
soon as his phone connected to the internet, he received a barrage of insulting
and reproachful messages from his friend. Both Eilian and Shozo looked at
each other and then burst into laughter. Time passed, and night fell. Shozo
taught Eilian how to play on his game device, and due to fatigue, Eilian fell

asleep on the guest room couch. Shozo carried her and took her to her room so
she could continue her sleep.
The next morning, Shozo prepared breakfast and ate it with Elian. He told her
that he would be busy all day and asked her not to leave the house. Shozo then
rode his bike to the psychiatric hospital where his father's wife, Sillian, was
institutionalized. When he arrived at the reception, the nurses warned him that
Sillian did not accept visitors due to the severe impact of her husband's death.
However, Shozo ignored their warning and asked them to direct him to her
room. When the nurse opened Sillian's room and informed her of the visitors'
presence, Sillian screamed, "I don't want visitors. All I want is for Derek to
come back and bring our baby, so we can be a family again."
"What about me, Sillian? Did you forget me so quickly? Won't I be a part of
your happy family?" Shozo said after entering the room. Sillian was shocked to
see Shozo and said, "Oh Shozo, you've grown up to be a copy of your father.
I'm sorry for what I did to you, sorry for throwing you off the ceiling that once
brought you and your father together, and for not accepting you. The god
punished me for my terrible actions towards you. I didn't accept you as my son
and you taking father's name, so the Lord took away my real baby from me."
Sillian spoke with a sad tone mixed with regret and a gloomy expression, tears
falling from her eyes. Shozo wiped her tears, held her hand and said, "Don't
worry, Sillian. I forgive you. We all make mistakes, but the first step towards
redemption is knowing the mistake. Your past actions have made me the man I
am today."

Sillian stared at Shozo with a proud motherly look that made Shozo feel a
warmth he had never felt before. She added, "You're a kind person, Shozo. How
can a child who grew up in such a harsh world, with two dead parents and a
despicable stepmother like me, have a heart like yours? I'm sure your father
would have been proud of you, and I envy your mother for giving birth to a
man like you.", "Thank you, Silian. I came to know how things ended up for
you in a place like this?" Shozo asked. Silian replied, "It's the sadness, Shozo.
The loss of your father affected me greatly. I was so sad that they thought I had
gone crazy, and maybe they were right. Maybe I am actually crazy, and why
wouldn't I be? Your father passed away while I was on the delivery table. How
can I raise a baby alone in this world?" "So, was the baby a girl or a boy?" Shozo
asked. "Oh, that's right. You don't know that you have a sister. I wish you could
see her. She was a moon-like child, but they prevented me from seeing her
become a full moon," Silian said. These answers were not enough for Shozo to
confirm that Elian was his half-sister, so he added a final question, saying, "And
who took her from you, Silian?" Silian's tone changed to angry and she said,
"Who else but that deceitful scoundrel? I thought he was a friend of your father
and the family. Abraham Donny, I will never forgive him as long as I live." After
this answer, Shozo was certain that the girl waiting for him in his house was
indeed his younger sister. Shozo wanted to return home quickly, but he decided
to spend more time with Silian. "You must feel lonely, Silian. What do you
think about coming to live with me? I'm sure you'll enjoy your time better than
in this place," Shozo said, and Silian replied, "I can't, my dear. This place
protects me from the hypocrisy, lies, and cruelty of the outside world. No one

knows how much evil people hide behind the smiles they greet you with. I can't
deal with such creatures. Also, I didn't say I feel lonely. Derek visits me every
night in my dreams to fill the void he left in my reality." After these words,
Shozo decided to return home. Silian hugged him and he hugged her back
before saying goodbye, On his way back riding his bike, Seilian's words kept
spinning in Shozo's mind. He said to himself, "It's impossible for me to
consider that woman crazy. What she says is the truth. Her words described the
reality of the world we live in, the world I live in. Oh God, I need a cigarette to
clear my mind now."
Shozo arrived home and upon opening the door, he was greeted by Eilian, who
was practicing to beat him in their upcoming match. Shozo rushed towards
Eilian and, without warning, embraced her, tears streaming down his face. He
realized that he had not lost his entire family and that there were still people
who shared his blood. Eilian did not know what to do in that situation but to
reciprocate the embrace, and the two remained in that state for a while.
It has been a quiet month for Shozo since he discovered that Elian is his sister.
Shozo spent the month trying to keep her smiles on her face. One day while
Shozo was preparing lunch, he received a message from the university he studies
at containing the test results. Since he did not take the test, he confirmed that
he would undoubtedly repeat the year, but he wanted to know how Ravi had
performed. Shozo sent him a message asking about his results. Ravi replied
immediately after receiving Shozo's message, and he was pleased with the good
news. Ravi ranked first in their class, which means that he will graduate this
year, while Shozo will spend another year at the university. The two friends

chatted for a while, and then the doorbell rang at Shozo's house. Upon hearing
the bell, Shozo said goodbye to Ravi and went to see who the visitor was, only
to be surprised by Dr. Isabella. "Hello, Shozo, I've been inundated with work at
the hospital, so I haven't had time to visit you, but today I have a whole day
off," Isabella said after Shozo opened the door. Elian came to see the visitor, and
after seeing Isabella, she rushed to her arms. Shozo asked Isabella to come in,
but she replied, "No, I have better plans than staying at home. What do you
think about going to the amusement park?" ,"I thought you came to see Elian,
not to take her on a date. Shouldn't you be asking her instead?" Shozo said with
a smile , Isabella blushed and said shyly, "Yes, you're right. What do you think,
Elian?" Elian nodded in agreement and went to her room to prepare herself.
Shozo and Isabella were left alone in silence. Isabella broke the silence and said,
"Aren't you going to prepare yourself too?" "No, I don't think I'll join you. I'm
not fond of amusement parks, even though I've never visited one," Shozo
replied. Isabella was surprised and asked, "What? You've never visited an
amusement park before? Come with us, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself." Seeing
how much Isabella wanted to take him with her, Shozo agreed and said, "Okay,
I'll go prepare myself. I have to look good if I'm going on a date with a girl as
beautiful as you." Shozo left Isabella feeling shy, a feeling she had never
experienced before, and went to prepare himself.
The group arrived at the amusement park after traveling in Isabella's car. The
place was crowded with people, which made Shozo uncomfortable because he
disliked crowded places. However, seeing Elian enjoying herself made him
endure the crowd .

While Shozo was watching Elian play a game, Isabella came with some juice and
stood next to Shozo, giving him his juice. Shozo thanked her and said, "So,
what do you want to know about me? I won't be fooled by you saying that you
want to get Elian out. Do you want to know about the girl's file that you
found, right?" Isabella stared at Shozo in amazement and said, "You read me
like an open book. It seems I can't hide my curiosity." Shozo smiled and said,
"Okay then, as thanks for helping Elian, I'll tell you a story, a story about my
meeting with Elian." Shozo began to tell his story starting from the day Elian
tried to commit suicide until today. Isabella was at a loss for words and couldn't
find anything to say due to the shock of the coincidence between Shozo and
Elian being real siblings. "How do you feel about having a sister?" Isabella
asked, to which Shozo replied, "I feel weak. I grew up without caring about
anything, especially after my father's death. Nothing could stop me, nothing
could occupy my mind, but now things are different. I feel responsible and
scared. I'm afraid of losing her and trust me, losing her will destroy me. I've
shed tears, tears of sadness, but knowing that Elian is my sister made me shed
tears of happiness for the first time, so I'll go crazy if I lose Elian" , "Despite
living far away from your father, it's clear that you love and respect him," said
Isabella. "You're right, I've always considered my father a hero. It was strange for
someone to have a father and still grow up in an orphanage. It caused me a lot
of problems with the other kids there, so I had a tough time. But when my
father would come to spend a day with me every week, I would forget about the
difficult times and it was as if he was rewarding me for my struggle in that place.
