RE: EMPLOYMENT OF MICHALYN EASTER-THOMAS

Michalyn Easter-Thomas was employed by Memphis River Parks Partnership

May 1, 2023, as Director of Education Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships.

Her salary and other employment-related expenses are fully covered by grants
obtained independently and without contribution from the City of Memphis.
No portion of the Partnership’s annual allocation from the City of Memphis
pays for her employment expenses which includes salary, taxes, insurance,
parking, and 401k contributions.

The grants used to cover these expenses have been specifically for the
purposes of education, creating a job opportunity pipeline, outreach and
engagement.
