1. Mathematical explanations with necessary equations to help understand the operation of

starting methods. (note: this is the core of each starting method). Mathematical equations for
each method need to be derived.
2. Graphs of line current and electromagnetic torque showing variations in steps as the speed
increase from zero to synchronous speed.
3. Advantages and disadvantages.
4. Suitable applications for each method.
5. Comments on accelerating torque in each case.
6. Clear circuit diagrams with proper notations.

Please add missing items into the assignment and prepare for a viva on starting methods of IM @ my
office as per the following schedule.
