Mount Rinjani

This mountain is located in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, an active

volcano which has a height of 3726 meters above sea level, is part of the
Mount Rinjani national park, has become a mainstay tourist attraction in
Indonesia, various tourists come from foreign countries to local tourists. Has
four climbing routes to reach the top of Mount Rinjani, the first is the
Sembalun route located in East Lombok, the second is the Senaru route which
is located in North Lombok, the third is the Aik Berik route which is located in
Central Lombok, and the last is the Timbanuh route which is located In East
Lombok, the favorite route for climbers is starting from the Sembalun route
and ending at the Senaru route.
This mountain has a crater that is 10 km wide, and a lake called SEGARA
ANAK which is 230 meters deep. This mountain has a mountain peak called
“Puncak Dewi Anjani”, there is also a hill called Bukit Penyesalan, which is
located on the climbing route to Pelawangan Sembalun, one of the main camps
of Mount Rinjani, named Bukit Penyesalan because of the steep and
challenging climbing terrain, which It is said that it has 7 uphill roads and 7
downhill roads, making climbers mentally unstable when passing this hill. The
estimate for climbing Mount Rinjani is 3 days and two nights.
