Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to develop appropriate research methodology in accordance with the
problem to be solved.

Content
Introduction to research methodology; Design Science Research; Research topics in the
Information Systems field; Qualitative and quantitative research; Library search and citation;
Research ethics; Research planning (determining the title, writing the background of the
problem, formulating the problem, research procedures, writing the results and discussion, and
drawing conclusions).

Soft Skills Attribute


Honesty, Discipline, Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, and Creativity.

Learning Methods
Lecture and Problem Based Learning (PBL).

Forms of Media
LCD Projectors, Computer/Laptop, Software, and Whiteboards.

Study/Exam Achievements
Assignments (30%), Mid-term Test (30%), Final Test (35%), and Soft Skill (5%).
