Project Title:

IMAGE CAPTION GENERATOR

Project Objective:

The main objective of our project is:

● To build a model that can automatically generate descriptive captions for Images.
● To optimize the performance of the CNN-LSTM model,involving fine-tuning
the architecture, hyperparameters, and training processes.
● To effectively harness the Flickr dataset for training,this includes data
preprocessing tasks such as image resizing, caption tokenization, and aligning
visual and textual data.

Work Completed:

1. Flickr8k Dataset collection done.

2. Data Preprocessing of Images performed.

3. All the software requirements are met.

Percentage of work done:

40% since last reporting.

Progress of work:

Working on training the CNN and LSTM models.
