WHY SHOULD WE LET LENI LEAD?

The social media world has been in a ruckus since certain presidential candidates
announced that they would run for the said position. Politically aware individuals voice out that
this year’s official line up is a huge laughingstock. And now isn’t the time to fool around, with
109.6 million people depending on a certain individual’s judgement and decision-making is not
an easy job, and therefore should be taken seriously. In addition, we are still facing a worldwide
pandemic that the next president should prioritize and have a solid resolution unlike the current
administration. We should vote wisely because the future of Filipinos especially us Gen Z’s will
be in the hands of the next president.

With that, I am voting for Leni Robredo, she is a competent leader, and we all deserve
one. I truly believe that Leni is our version of ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’ she represents
hope, she can unify people, she will go an extra mile and beyond just to fulfill her duty, she is
willing to venture into the rut and make use of herself as an instrument for people who often
don’t get heard. Also, she successfully completed her education, and has been a Doctor in Public
Administration, Doctor of Humanities, and Doctor of Laws before being linked into politics. On
top of that, she successfully authored several bills that many of us benefit from—Additionally,
she has accomplished numerous projects regarding Covid Response, Education,
Housing/Disaster Relief, and Poverty Reduction. It is impressive how she carries out large
numbers of bills and projects in such a short period of time, compared to those who has been
around for decades or more. Evidently, she is solely about pure hard work and determination
generally for the betterment of our beloved country.

Who doesn’t want an uncorrupted president? I think none. We should never settle for less
than what was promised, do not settle for less than what can be accomplished, we should all do
our part and vote wisely, vote for someone who acts before he speaks. Leni is true to her words,
and she has nothing but good intentions for all of us. Electing her will be the greatest change that
will occur in our country. Let’s remember, we shouldn’t let all of us suffer once again. Tayo
