Summary of module for applicants:

Students will develop an understanding of the skills of devising and work in collaboration with an external cultural
organisations, such as a museum, to create a new performance work for an external audience. To develop a range of
skills required to devise theatre collaboratively

To develop an understanding of how both devised and text-based scenes work

Main topics of study:

Lectures, seminars and practical workshops examining the following areas:

 Ways into devising


 Collaborative performance practices
 Creating performance work from stimulus such as archive
 Working with producing partners
 Performance
