 How to use your
Rainbow of Gratitude
One small but mighty practice is daily
gratitude. Having an attitude of
gratitude is proven to boost overall
mood and improve happiness. This
craft is a visual reminder of the small
and big things that bring color to your
life. Having a constant reminder of the
things that you love and are grateful for
can help on the days when the sky
feels a bit gray.

Put this Rainbow of Gratitude in a

place where you can easily see it and
be reminded of all of the good things to
be thankful for!

 Getting Started
You will need:
Printed rainbow strips and base
Scissors
Writing utensils
Coloring utensils
Glue or glue stick

 Instructions
1. Cut out all of your rainbow strips.

2. Decorate and fill out your strips with

things you love about your life and are
grateful for.

3. If you are using the black & white

versions, color and decorate them.
Then, fill in both the strips and base
with things you are grateful for.

4. Fold back the tabs on the dotted line

of each strip. The color portion of your
strip should be facing up.

5. Starting with the smallest strip, apply

glue to the colored side of both small
tabs. Glue them in place to the rainbow
base. You can glue the strips directly
over top of each other, or place the
next strip 1/2 inch behind the previous
one every time you add a strip.

6. Continue to apply the strips one at a

time, going from the shortest strip to
the longest strip until all strips have
been added.
