P – Chapter 24

The ride feels like you’re on a rocky road with the highest kilometer per hour in the speed of
the car.

This is just our first ride but I feel like I’m gonna lose my voice right here and now. We were in
a loop and our bodies are upside down.

I feel like passing out from watching how far the ground is to us. I just close my eyes until
Jennie’s hands were on my cheeks.

“Lisa…” I turn around and Jennie was worried about me with those tender eyes.

“Are you scared?” I only nod in response and close my eyes. But what made me open my eyes
was when I felt her lips that are soft as marshmallows on me.

Despite my stomach churning, it was replaced into butterflies and everything just vanished.

The screams, the horrifying view, the cold air, my panic, they are all gone in just one long kiss. I
felt her move so I instinctively move mine with hers. It was slow yet it was the most relaxing
kiss we ever had.

We stayed like that for a moment until I realized I’m already fine and my nauseating state is
already gone.

“Ah shit. Kiss me too Joohyun!” I turn around and saw Seulgi and Irene kissing. Jisoo then gave
me an okay sign with a smirk while Rosie is squealing.

On the other hand, Momo and Dahyun are already making out at the back while Wendy was
hugging Yeri tightly, deafening Yeri from her loudmouth.

“Are you still scared?” I just shook my head. She smiles and held my hand up high.

“Shout with me, Lili!” And I obliged. I didn’t even care about the loops and turns of the
railroad. All I ever care about is how big her smile is right now.
“Oh shit. That was… monstrous!” Wendy then collapses into the floor with her disheveled hair.
Seulgi just sat on her back while laughing.

“I swear I’m not gonna ride a roller coaster again,” Jisoo mutters with a horrifying look and we
just laugh at her.

“You can only say that because you can’t kiss your girl, Jisooyah.” Momo teased her and Jisoo
just glare at her with a blush on her cheeks.

“Yah! It’s not like that!” Momo and Seulgi just laugh as they turn to me with a smirk.

“And Lisa is quite lucky today. You should be braver like your little sis, Chu.” Seulgi then helps
Wendy to stand up as we huddle while waiting for the girls to come back.

They were out for a bit to buy us water but I’m sure they are making fun of us. Jisoo then
nudges me with a teasing smile.

“And how is it, Lisayah? Is Jendeukie a good kisser?” My face suddenly went hot.

“Are her lips sweet? Soft? What?” Momo added with her eyes sparkling and I just push their
faces away from me.

“The hell, guys. That’s personal!” They just pouted.

“Lisa.” I turn around and saw Jennie with a water bottle along with the girls.
“Oh hey, girls. You’re back.” Rosie only smiles at me while tapping my shoulder before she
offers the water bottle to Jisoo. Irene, Yeri, and Dahyun also went to their girlfriends as they
offer them beverages.

“Drink this.” Jennie came to me as she opens the cap and offers it to me. I gladly accept it.

“Thanks, Nini.” I drink it and damn, I’m so thirsty! I even almost emptied the plastic bottle.

“Thank you so much, Nini.” She only kisses my cheek and took the water bottle from me.

“You are always welcome.” And she finished the water while staring at me.

“I would like to congratulate all of you for passing the exams. As expected of my students,
please give yourselves a round of applause.” Principal Yang, which is also our homeroom
teacher, then claps his hands along with ours.

Everyone was congratulating their neighbors until principal Yang raises his hand to get our
attention. We then went silent.

“Congratulations, guys!” Wendy shouts and whistles. Our classmates then bomb us some
praises and it’s overwhelming me yet I try to be modest about it. I bowed at them in my seat
and congratulate them as well for passing the exam.

I felt a warm hand reaching mine on my lap and squeezes it tight. I turn to the side and Jennie
was giving me a proud look.
“Congratulations, Lili.” I smile and top her hand with my free hand.

“Congratulations to you too, Nini.” We smile at each other, forgetting that everyone’s eyes
were on us.

“You nailed the tests guys, that was awesome!” Everyone agrees to Seulgi and give us another
round of applause. The news was all around the school and wherever I go, the students would
congratulate me.

My squad along with their girls including Dahyun and Rosie then joined us here in the rooftop
where Jisoo already prepared a table for us not to sit on the floor.

“You finally have a partner on being the school’s most intelligent student, Jen.” Irene stated
and Jennie smiles and cups my face to get my attention from Jisoo who is still talking to me
about our date plan.

“Jenlisa, the genius couple.” Wendy spreads her arms in the air with her eyes squint until she
smiles at us.

“Sound’s great, right?” I shook my head and throw a used tissue paper to her. Everyone laughs
and continues to eat.

Heat rose from my cheek but I didn’t dare to look away. Instead, we both just giggle and
continue eating. We then heard Seulgi clearing her throat.

“Why don’t we celebrate this sweet achievement? Everyone deserves a reward, you know.”
Seulgi wiggles her eyebrows at me and hugs Irene who also hugs her back.

“Ah! I know!” Jisoo then winks at me with that knowing smile as she leans forward. “Why don’t
we go to the Lotte world this Saturday? Is everyone free?” My eyes met Jennie’s.
She smiles innocently at me and leans her head on my shoulder. I just rest my head to hers.

I already forgot about it but has she already moved on about it? Or does the incident even
bothered her?

“Oooh. That’s nice. We’ll go! We’ll go!” Wendy then raised her hand along with Yeri’s.

“Don’t forget about us.” Seulgi then kisses Irene on the cheek. We all then turn to Rosie who’s
curling her hair.

“Well, I’m not busy this weekend so… I’m coming.” I look at Jisoo and triumphant was written
all over her face.

“How about you, Jendeukie?” Jisoo then points at her baby sis. I look down to peek at her
pretty face and she just smiled and retreats from me.

“Great! Let’s all meet at 1 PM at their entrance!” And we then squeal in excitement while I
look at the beautiful angel beside me who’s flashing her gummy grin. I can’t help but smile.

I can’t wait.

It’s already Saturday and I am so nervous.

“I look great.” I complimented. I feel comfy. I know this is the day that I’ll court Jennie and I
should be wearing something attractive but I wanna show Jennie the true me and this is me.
Lisa who loves to wear comfy clothes and doesn’t want to impress anyone.

As for our girls, well, they have their own lives and they want to hang out a bit without us. We
can’t say no to them anyway.

“Lisa! Let’s go!” It was Wendy and damn it. She’s yelling from outside! I quickly open the door
and did our weird handshake.
“Come on, dude! I wanna see my girlfriend already!” We just laugh at Momo.

“Okay, okay. Wait.” I grab my keys and close the apartment. We then proceed to the basement
while checking each other out. They all look good actually.

We proceed to Jisoo’s black van and place our backpacks behind. I notice the van’s interior was
customized. It only has single seats on the corners so the center was spacious. I just took a seat
and beside me is Seulgi while Momo is in front of me.

Suddenly, I felt my phone beeped so I took it from my pocket and read its message.

My heart is screaming in joy. I could not hide that I’m smiling like an idiot while the dorks are
talking. I just tap the keyboard.

We’re on our way

To Lotte world now.

I bit my lip and stare outside the window. I can’t wait for me to finally confess to her. I’m a bit
scared but come what may. I can’t fight this feeling anymore.

“Ehem.” I stare at Momo as I drop my smile as much as I could.

“What?” I ask firmly. They all just look at each other and grin. Momo then raises her fist in the
air.
“Jisoo and Lisa are gonna tie the knot today y’all!” Wendy and Seulgi then raise their fists as
Jisoo and I just stare at them comically.

“Single no more bitches!” They all shouted and I just shook my head as our humongous
laughter filled the van.

“Dude, where are our girls?” Momo asks while I’m texting Jennie. Seulgi, Wendy, and Jisoo
were also looking for them. There are lots of people anyway and the girls might get lost.

We just arrived at Magic Island and I am feeling goosebumps for reasons. This was the place
where I waited for Nancy and the spot where I met Taehyung properly and kick his ass.

Both of them were gone. I don’t know about Nancy’s whereabouts while Taehyung is… dead.

My dreaded thoughts were cut off when I received a message from Jennie. I then tap Momo’s
shoulder.

“They said they have already arrived. Let’s just wait for-“ I couldn’t finish my word.

We already saw the girls and they are coming to us like a runway model with those casual
clothes but they slay it. They were talking and laughing and didn’t even mind if the people are
ogling at them.

Then my eyes landed on Jennie. I was mesmerized by the sight. Jennie wearing a silk flowery
dress with her loose straight brunette hair is an adorable sight.

Her cute Chanel bag is small like her. The two-inches heel of her beige doll shoes isn’t even
enough to make her look taller but I love it though.

“Oh my god, Lisa.” Wendy then taps my shoulder with her fingers on her mouth.

“What?” I felt another hand on my shoulder and it was Momo gawking at Jennie instead of
Dahyun.

and Jisoo to the approaching girls.

“Hi girls!” The aliens then went to their girls while I stop in front of Rosie to greet her and
lastly, to Jennie with a nervous smile.

“Hi.” She smiles and touches the hem of her dress while looking at me.

“Does it look good on me?” She’s asking me with an aegyo voice and I just give her a thumbs

“It looks best on you, Nini.” Her expression softens.

“Thank you.” She whispers and we just smile at each other. Rosie then clears her throat to stop
Momo and Wendy from doing too much PDA.

“Why don’t we just go inside and have fun already?” Jisoo nods.

“Let’s go then!” We followed Yeri dragging Irene and Dahyun while Jennie is clinging on Rosie’s
arm as we finally enter the Lotte world with my squad beside me.
I’m taking a picture of them. They keep on calling me to take pictures of them until a vast of
rides then welcome us with lots of people watching us like we’re some kind of celebrities. We
stop in the middle of the place as we gather.

“So? What’s our first ride?” Yeri asks. We all then look at each other waiting for someone to
suggest.

“Hmmm…” Irene taps her finger on her cheek as she scans the whole surrounding along with

“That one!” Dahyun then points something that made me and my squad’s jaw drop. She was
pointing at the twirly roller coaster where people were shouting at the top of their lungs.

To be fair, My squad bought a ticket for their girls and for themselves while I also bought two
tickets for me and Jennie. We then enter the roller coaster as the guy helps us to get inside.

Since the squad and their girls know about Jisoo’s plan, they let me and Jennie sit together and
Jisoo and Rosie as well. It was Jennie and me in the first row. Jisoo and Roseanne behind us.
Seulgi and Irene in the third row. Momo and Dahyun behind them and lastly, Wendy and Yeri.

I then fasten my seatbelt and help Jennie to her belt. The steel barrier with a rubber grip then
automatically pins to us and fuck, watching the sky with the elevated railroad makes me want
to pass out but then I felt a warm hand wrapping my thigh.

“Are you ready, Lili?” I turn to Jennie and her smile relaxes me. I then smile confidently at her,
trying my best as I could

“You might piss your pants, Lim- AAAAAA!” Rosie immediately covers Jisoo’s mouth when she
suddenly shouts when the open car moved. The people from behind even shout and cuss.

“Have mercy, Chu. Can you not shout? It just started.” Rosie laughs while I am gripping the
steel bar and my seatbelt so tight like my life depends on it when it started to climb up to the
highest.

closing her eyes. Rosie just keeps on laughing.

“I love you guys! AAAAAAAAAH!” Wendy shouts from behind until we just drove down to the

“Oh, hell no.” We all say it in unison as we watch the horror booth again.

“Just what is wrong with their pick!? Are they ridiculing us?” Wendy angrily whispers at us until
Momo was taken away from us.

“Come on, girls! Let’s test our courage!” Momo only whimpers silently while being dragged by
Dahyun.

“Are you guys scared?” Jennie asks us and we stood straight as we show a smile on our faces.

“O- of course not!” Seulgi then rubs Iren’s arms as she tries to be confident in her words.

“I will protect you, baby.” Irene only laughs and playfully rolls her eyes at her.

“Oh really?” Seulgi only nods and wraps her arms around Irene.

“Don’t be scared. I’m here, okay?” Wendy whispers to Yeri who only frowns at her.

“I think I should be the one to tell you that.” Jennie and I just laugh as Yeri and Wendy follow
Seulrene and Dahmo until we notice Jisoo and Rosie staring at each other.

“What? Are you gonna say something too?” Jisoo just cracks a laugh and offers Rosie to follow
the girls. I then felt a hand from my back as it strokes me.
“Lisa?” I turn to my side as Jennie seems to expect something from me. I just smile at her.

“Uh, just hold my hand, Nini! That’s it.” Jennie giggles and nods.

“Okay. Let’s go now.” And we came inside the booth with the tickets that Momo bought for us.
We then gather around, feeling the fear already.

It was dark and foggy. There’s a faint of foul smell in the air and I think it’s blood. Dim red
lights were everywhere with cobwebs and splatters of blood as we walk further to the booth
and these spooky sound effects are not helping to make me braver in front of Jennie who is
just calm right beside me.

“Shit. I’m feeling goosebumps already.” Wendy mutters as she hugs herself.

“Where are the monsters and ghosts?” Dahyun asks.

“We just started baby. Those freaks won’t show up-“ An undeniable creepy sound was heard
behind us that made Momo bite back her tongue. We just turn around to check what it was.

A white lady with lots of blood on her white dress as her hair that covers her creepy face was
crawling unto us.

“AAAAAAAAAH! SADAKO! SADAKOOOO!” Seulgi shouts that made us scream as well as she
crawls on the ground. Irene hurriedly picks her up as they ran away while I wrap my arms to
Jennie.

“Holy shit! Run!” Jisoo shouts and we ran away from the ghost.

We were running as fast as we could as I can hear my heart beating so fast. I check Jennie in
my arms and she was just smiling like she was having fun.

Well, that’s strange.

“Jen? What are you- Ouch.” Seulgi suddenly stops in front of me, bumping my face on her
head.
“What’s wrong guys? Why did you-“ Wendy cover my mouth from behind as our eyes fixed on
a red balloon that just flew all the way to us.

A freaking tall clown with sharp teeth just appeared while carrying an axe with blood all over
his clothes. Jisoo just hugs Rosie tight like her life was depending on her.

“So, what our next mission?” Momo asks while draping her arm around my neck.

monsters popping out of nowhere. We even try to outrun everyone just to get the hell out of
this place.

But I noticed how the footsteps behind me are getting lesser and lesser. I just turn around and
realized that my friends are already gone, even Jennie!

“G- guys? Where are you?” I look around and everything was clear despite the subtle sounds
of screams.

“Jennie? W- where are you?” I try to look around as I tiptoe, afraid to encounter some
creatures and I just gulp when there was clearly no one.

Now, this is scary.

I feel like crying. I just took a deep breath, trying to build courage until I stiffen when I felt arms
wrapping my waist. My heart pounded, wanting to burst inside me.

“Lisa…” Warm breath tickles my skin as my neck was in between Jennie’s teeth. I jump back.

“Jennie!” I clutch my chest as I stare at the beautiful woman in front of me, laughing at my
state.
“What?”

“Don’t scare me like that!” She only giggles and walks up to me as she wraps her arms around
my waist.

“I’m sorry. I’m just teasing you. I didn’t know you would almost cry like a lost child.” I scoff.

“No, I’m not! I’m just worried about the girls you know since they’re already gone.” I hear her
giggle again and stroke my back.

“Okay. Whatever you say. Come on. Let’s get out of here.” And she guided me in the darkness,
looking for a way out.

“That was hella scary. I thought I was gonna die back there.” I mumble and wipe my sweat. I
still feel so dreaded yet having fun.

It’s amazing how Jennie didn’t flinch a bit and would just ask those monsters where’s the way
to exit. That’s probably called cheating, right?

I look to my side and the dorks were sitting on the floor, traumatized by what happened
earlier. Their girls then try to cheer them up but they only got whines.

“Well, not really.” I heard Jennie speak with a smile on her face as she wipes my sweat with
her handkerchief.
“Well yeah. I can see that. You didn’t even break a sweat.” She chuckles and cups my cheeks.

“They’re only humans, Lili. Plus, only you who can make me feel those thrills and no one else.”
She then flashes her gummy smile.

The cat got my tongue. Nope. It was more like Jennie got my tongue. I just chuckle and rub my
nape.

“That’s so sweet.” That was not me. It’s Rosie with Irene clinging beside her. Jennie only smiles
at them as she was about to cling to my arm when Jisoo taps on her shoulder.

“Jendeukie, let me talk to Lisa a bit.” Didn’t wait for her answer, Jisoo already drags me along
with the squad as we huddle away from the girls.

“I can’t take this any more guys. This day should be romantic for Jisoo and Lisa, not life-
threatening!” Wendy snaps as Seulgi massages her shoulder.

“Can we just not let the bottoms take control of this one? They are horrible at picking rides
and booths!” Jisoo whispers frustratingly and Seulgi, Momo and I just stare at each other and
smile.

“Hello, kids. Want some candies?” The clown then extended his hand with freshly plucked
eyeballs and our faces cringe as we hug each other.

“Penny fucking wise! AAAAAAAAH!” We then ran for our dear lives as tons of ghosts and
monsters popping out of nowhere. We even try to outrun everyone just to get the hell out of
this place.

But I noticed how the footsteps behind me are getting lesser and lesser. I just turn around and
realized that my friends are already gone, even Jennie!

“G- guys? Where are you?” I look around and everything was clear despite the subtle sounds
of screams.

“Jennie? W- where are you?” I try to look around as I tiptoe, afraid to encounter some
creatures and I just gulp when there was clearly no one.
Now, this is scary.

I feel like crying. I just took a deep breath, trying to build courage until I stiffen when I felt arms
wrapping my waist. My heart pounded, wanting to burst inside me.

“Lisa…” Warm breath tickles my skin as my neck was in between Jennie’s teeth. I jump back.

“Jennie!” I clutch my chest as I stare at the beautiful woman in front of me, laughing at my
state.

“What?”

“Don’t scare me like that!” She only giggles and walks up to me as she wraps her arms around
my waist.

“I’m sorry. I’m just teasing you. I didn’t know you would almost cry like a lost child.” I scoff.

“No, I’m not! I’m just worried about the girls you know since they’re already gone.” I hear her
giggle again and stroke my back.

“Okay. Whatever you say. Come on. Let’s get out of here.” And she guided me in the darkness,
looking for a way out.

“That was hella scary. I thought I was gonna die back there.” I mumble and wipe my sweat. I
still feel so dreaded yet having fun.
It’s amazing how Jennie didn’t flinch a bit and would just ask those monsters where’s the way
to exit. That’s probably called cheating, right?

I look to my side and the dorks were sitting on the floor, traumatized by what happened
earlier. Their girls then try to cheer them up but they only got whines.

“Well, not really.” I heard Jennie speak with a smile on her face as she wipes my sweat with
her handkerchief.

“Well yeah. I can see that. You didn’t even break a sweat.” She chuckles and cups my cheeks.

“They’re only humans, Lili. Plus, only you who can make me feel those thrills and no one else.”
She then flashes her gummy smile.

The cat got my tongue. Nope. It was more like Jennie got my tongue. I just chuckle and rub my
nape.

“That’s so sweet.” That was not me. It’s Rosie with Irene clinging beside her. Jennie only smiles
at them as she was about to cling to my arm when Jisoo taps on her shoulder.

“Jendeukie, let me talk to Lisa a bit.” Didn’t wait for her answer, Jisoo already drags me along
with the squad as we huddle away from the girls.

“I can’t take this any more guys. This day should be romantic for Jisoo and Lisa, not life-
threatening!” Wendy snaps as Seulgi massages her shoulder.

“Can we just not let the bottoms take control of this one? They are horrible at picking rides
and booths!” Jisoo whispers frustratingly and Seulgi, Momo and I just stare at each other and
smile.

“Okay, okay. Chill. Relax. They’re coming.” And we all look at behind them. The girls walk up to
us with a smile.

“Done with your brief meeting?” Irene asks as she clings to Seulgi. Jisoo then snaps her fingers.
“Yes and unto the next one, ladies! From now on, we will be the one to choose where we’re
going!”

“Fine with us.” The girls only nodded at Rosie as they cling to each other.

“Let’s go!” They then left us as they drag Jennie away from me.

We then went to casual arcades and rides. We try carousel and bump cars first like what my
squad wants since they find it romantic.

I didn’t waste any time taking pictures of them especially Jennie. She looks so cute, especially
in her dress.

We also went to different booths that are less scary and even went to the Lego house and
build some castles there. We were even competing with our pairs of who has the nicest castle
and as the genius couple, we won.

Hours passed by and we decided to go to the Aquarium for our last journey here. And, the
place where Jisoo and I will be courting the two.

“There. Right there, Nini. Pose for me, Nini!” And she poses, flashing her gummy smile. I look

fish in the Aquarium.

“It’s you!” She said with enthusiasm and the idiots just laugh. And the fish she was pointing? It
was a flower horn. I just smack her head.

“HAHAHAHA- Woah!” We were taken aback when a baby shark suddenly bats its snout on the
glass. We then stare at each other.

“What was that?” Seulgi asks that is just behind Jisoo. Wendy scoffs as she clutches her chest.

“What the fuck? Are you Aquaman or something?” I was about to answer when I felt a hand
on my back.

“What’s going on here?” Jennie asks as she stares intently at us.

“They teased me Nini so the shark scared them. You deserve it. Ha-ha!” I stick out my tongue
at them.

“Guys!” Momo approaches us with a smile on her face. “Why don’t we scatter around and just
meet at the dolphin show? So that you know… we could have a quality time together with our
partners.” Momo then winks at me and Jisoo and we already know what she means.

“Okay, okay. Chill. Relax. They’re coming.” And we all look at behind them. The girls walk up to
us with a smile.

Now I’m alone with Jennie. Nervousness finally kicked in as the realization hits me.

smile at her.

“O- oh, uh, sorry. Let’s go there?” I point at the other path of the Aquarium and she nods and
clings to my arm.

“Okay.” We just smile at each other and walk towards the area. Right after we enter it, I feel
like I was under the sea with lots of different sea creatures around us.

“Wow.” She utters while turning around with amusement in her eyes. She looks like an
innocent child who just explores her new world as she lets go of me. I just took a picture of
her.

She jumps from here to there and I just follow her everywhere with a freaking smile on my

“Look, Lisa. It’s a jellyfish. Isn’t it cute?” She asks with an aegyo voice and I just nod.

“Yeah, it is.” She then walks away and I watch her looking around. I took a picture of her while
the people here would steal a glance at her. Such a head-turner. I stare at the screen of my
camera and shakily sigh as I look at her.

Jennie was always there beside me. She took care of me. Protected me. Made me happy and
everything. She was always there the whole damn time. I know I’ve been in love with her but

Another shaky sigh escaped from my mouth. No liquor courage or any type of encouragement.
I am finally enlightened by what’s in front of me and I can’t waste it. I have to grab this
opportunity.

Putting down my camera and let it hang around my neck, I took a deep breath and clench my
fists.

deafen me at any minute. But time stops when I met her dilating feline eyes as she waited for

jaw slowly dropping.

never got the courage to ask you out because I thought you were out of my league.” I then
took her hands, squeezing them tight while my thumb is caressing the back of her hands.

I took another step closer. Our bodies were a few inches apart as I hold her hands tightly.

“But Jennie, let me say this again. I love you. I’m so freaking in love with you and I can’t stop
myself from loving you no matter what I do.” I look deep into her eyes, tears flow out from her
eyes and that made me panic.

“Yeah. Of course! That’s a great idea!” Jisoo then grins as she walks out to Rosie.

burning red right now as my head feels so light.

“R- really?” I ask as she pulls away from me with those happy tears on her face and nods.

I am surprised, blinking at her. The one and only Jennie Ruby Jane Kim… likes me. And fuck,
why am I so stupid?

I’ve been wasting my time forcing myself to love somebody, but I didn’t know that the feeling
is mutual. She’s been giving me those signs but I keep on denying, that I was just assuming
things. Now I feel like dreaming.

“Lisa?” She snaps me from my bubble of thoughts and I let out a chuckle. The adrenaline and
dopamine are messing my mind. But I clear my throat and take a deep breath, a smile still
plastered.

“Then, um. J- Jennie Ruby Jane Kim? C-can I… court you? Take you on a date?” She smiles and
tucks a hair behind my ear and looks at me straight in the eyes.
“You don’t have to do court me, Lili.” I pout, feeling sad about it.

“W- why?” Her gummy grin appears, melting me.

Everyone was cheering, praising for my braveness as the others congratulate us. It was a good
show. No, a good reality show for them.

Rosé’s POV

moment there since they are still making out.

“Awww. Look at them. That is so sweet. I’m jealous. How I wish I get to have mine already.” I
