Treasury
The Treasury is crucial for the growth of Australia’s economy.

Business Awards
The Treasury will publicly award businesses performing the best with
assistance, within our capability, for the week. The criteria includes,
but not limited to: quality, activity and impact. Our goal is to stimulate
the economy and business competition.

Business Creation
The Treasury will oversee and manage an underperforming private
sector, ensuring its growth through multiple active businesses and the
business awards. An Australian Democrats government will make the
process as streamlined, simple and minimal requirements to further
incentivise registration.

Judiciary
The Judiciary watches over the management of Australia’s court
system and independent investigation authorities.

Judiciary Capabilities
In conjunction with the Chief Justice, we will pass legislation to form
the Australian BAR Association and to commence the hiring process
for Public Defenders & Crown Prosecutors.

Australian BAR Association

The Australian BAR Association will act as the principal authority to
issue, revoke and suspend Australian BAR Certificates. The association
will also be responsible for issuing those of Senior Counsel (SC) and
King’s Counsel (KC).

Corruption Prevention
Our Government will ensure the creation of a bipartisan Independent
Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to deter and investigate
corruption, malfeasance and misconduct within executive
departments, statutory and other agencies. ICAC answers directly to
the Governor-General on their findings and serves as the Principal
Advisor to the Attorney-General on matters of Internal Corruption.

Foreign Affairs
Foreign Affairs essential for maintaining positive relationships outside
our borders and our interests on an international scale.

A Shining Light
We will harness the potential of Australia to transform us into a
leading nation on the world stage; a role model for others’ to follow.

International Cooperation
We will establish and maintain positive relations with other nations to
ensure we all benefit from it.

Foreign Visits
An Australian Democrats government will facilitate visits from foreign
heads of state to strengthen bonds and display the greatness of
Australia.

Foreign Travel Advisory

Our government will establish a Foreign Travel Advisory to ensure all
Australians stay safe overseas.

Home Affairs and Emergency Services
Our emergency services are the first responders responsible for the
aid, neutralisation and assistance to citizens of Australia, thus being of
great importance.

Operational Policing
Our government will provide our law enforcement personnel with the
highest quality equipment, training and leadership to maximise their
capabilities to respond to the public efficiently and effectively.

Immigration Efficiency
An Australian Democrats government will ensure a rapid citizenship
during non-election periods. All immigration processes will be stopped
to guarantee no electoral fraud through importing.

Large-Scale Events
Harnessing the power of the public, we will run practice events for our
emergency services, to guarantee a professional and rapid response if
such disaster were to ever happen.

Defence
Defence is vital for the deterrence, prevention and protection of war
against Australia.

Prepared Armed Forces

This government will ensure the Australian Defence Force is prepared
to respond to any threat, domestic or foreign.

International Military Training

In conjunction with Foreign Affairs, our government will arrange
international military training to strengthen ties and military
capabilities.

Parliament and Legislation
The Parliament of Australia is extremely important for the
representation of our nation.

Standing Orders
Our government will oversee the creation of a fair Standing Orders,
allowing bills to be passed efficiently.

Forming a Strong Base

We will create legislation that will lay strong groundwork for the future
governments to build and flourish Australia.

Creation of Public Databases

An Australian Democrats government will ensure the rapid formulation
of public databases to allow individuals to easily seek information
they may require.
