1, Jaswinder Ram son of Piara resident of Affidavit of Brother O Mohadipur Arian, District Jalandhar, and Punjab, India, Do hereby solemnly swear and affirm as under: 1 Be 3 6. 2 ‘That | am permanent resident of above said address and law abiding citizen of India ‘That | am real brother of Harjinder Ram who was born on 05" January, 1970, “That we belongs to Hindu religion, We belong to low caste Ad-Dharmi and we faced discrimination due to our caste, My Brother Harjinder Ram converted his religion from “Hindu” to “Christian” which was not tolerated by the RSS Hindu Fundamentalist. ‘That my brother Harjinder Ram got married to my sister ine law Sunita Rani. My brother Harjinder Ram was influence by the Christian Religion people, He came in contact and later on met with the Christian preacher namely Mohinder Pal who told him about Jesus Christ and his teachings. My brother himself and hhis family are quite impressed with the teaching and thoughts of Christian re! on, Even my sister Jaw Sunita Rani started used to go in Church with him. ‘That thereafter, my brother Harjitider Ram did B.A.M.S course and started running a small hospital under the name and style as Saroya Healthcare Hospital for the welfare of the needy and poor people, ‘That my brother Harjinder Ram and my sister- in law Sunita Rani were very much inspired from the Christian religion and they convert themselves to Christianity. That other Hindu leaders of my village namely Satnam Singh and Sham Singh whe started calling them “Chamaar™8. That other Hindu leaders of my village namely Satnam Singh and Sham Singh who- started calling them “Chamaar” and wamed them they will face bad consequences because they changed their Hindu Religion to Christianity 9. That, in August 2014, the members of RSS attacked their hospital and are openly proclaiming that they will finish their life if they will not leave the Christianity. After thst attack, they approached the police but thepolice did not help them. 10. That later in September 2014, the workers cof the RSS attacked at my brother's house and started beating to him with baseball bats and wooden sticks and injured him badly. He screamed for help and nearby neighbors came at the spot and the attackers Jefi the spot by threatening my brother to stop going to Church and start following again Hindu Religion otherwise they will harm him again and again 11. That even after this attack my brother again went to the police station for help but the police did not help him due to RSS influence. 12. That in August, 2015 the RSS Hindu attacked upon my brother when he was coming ‘back from Market RSS workers attacked him, ‘threatened him not to go again for Church and follow the Hindu Religion. 13, That | know thereafter my brother Harjinder Ram and his wife Sunita Rani were moved to USA on 25" November, 2015 but they came back to India on 6" May. 2016 due to their children, After returning to India they had not stop to going to Church. 14. That thereafier the consequences, in July, 2016 the people of RSS Hindu attacked upon my Brother and his wife at their house and beaten them mercilessly. But due to intervention of the neighbors, the RSS Hindus left the spot by threatening My brother next time, they will finish his life and their family. 15. That even in February, 2017 my brother was again attacked by the RSS people when he was going near from a canal and at that time, a vehicle of RSS hit the car ofmy brother and damaged the same from the back side, My brother did high speed of his vehicle and rescued himself from the attackers, 16. That | know thereafter, my brother stated living in hiding. After sometime, he left India and had gone to USA in the month of March 2017 but his wife lived here to take careof her children. 17. That after my brother Harjinder Ram left India, My brother's wife Sunita Rani did not stop going to Church. 18.That even in November 2017, the police also came at the village and warmed the lower caste people not to go Church. 19. Thereafter, on 15" December, 2017 the people of RSS Hindu attacked at the house of my brother's house and they caught my sister-in-law Sunita Rani and beat ber. Even they shouted upon my sister-in-lawnot to go Church due to timely intervention of the neighbors, the attacked ran away from the spot. 20. That thereafter, my sister-in-law went to her relative house along with her children where she lived in hiding, Uhimately, she left India and met with her husband on 25% March, 2018. Soon, she returned back to India ‘on 24" September, 2018, Even after returned, she again lived in hiding for secure her life. 21. That in the year 2020, the spread of Coronavirus was started due to which all over world lockdown was imposed by the Governments. After passing some time my sister. Jaw Sunita Rani again came back to home and again gone to ‘Church in routine manner. 20, She was again attacked by the RSS people on 25 December, 2021. They beat her pto which she started screaming and nearby neighbors came at the spot and rescued her from the attackers. The people of RSSleft the spot by threatening to come back to Hindu Religion otherwise they will kill her and her husband by’ finding him. She gets medical treatment for her inj23. That she again tried to file police complaint against the RSS Hindu attackers but the police again refused her complaint, Ultimately, any sister left India and on 05" April, 2022, she reached in USA by keeping her son to his relatives for future safety. 24. That now, I am giving this affidavit in support of asylum application of my brother Harjinder Ram who went to USA to secure his life because his life is not safe in India due to change his religion from Hindu to Christian. The people of the RSS Hindu are still approaching the residents and asked whereabouts of Sunita Rani and his family members and are openly threatening to finish the life of his and his family members too.
