Destiny would smile upon us

By: Rafaela Ebreo

Once upon a time, two individuals who were completely in love lived in a beautiful little village
located between green hills. Hadiyah and Von were their names, and their love was a force of nature that was
luminous. Their bond was unbreakable, or so they thought. Shino was Hadiyah and Von's best friend, and
together they experienced both happiness and grief. They were the ideal trio a harmonious combination of
love and friendship that everyone admired. The villagers are often astonished at their closeness and
questioned whether such a solid relationship could really exist.
Shino's heart was filled with envy one fateful evening, beneath a sky painted in pink and orange. He
had secretly loved Hadiyah for many years, but he kept his feelings hidden out of respect for his friend.
However, on that fateful evening, envy overtook him, and he made a decision that would change their lives
forever. Hadiyah was in their favorite area when Shino approached her with a smile. He whispered
venomous remarks in Hadiyah's ear, putting doubt on Von's love. Hadiyah's confidence was shattered by
jealousy, and that's why she ran away from her beloved. Von, hurt and ,betrayed stared in horror as the love
of his life ran away. He shouted out for her, tears flowing down his cheeks, but Hadiyah never glanced back.
Shino's wicked scheme had worked, and he believed he had gained Hadiyah's heart. However, years
later, he recognized the cost of his lie. He confessed to Hadiyah, consumed with regrets and guilt for his
actions. But Hadiyah would never forgive him for breaking apart her once-perfect life. She then ran back to
their village, hoping to meet Von, but he was nowhere to be found. Until she recalls their favorite area and
runs to the top of the hill. She arrived at the location where there are large cherry blossom trees. She is in
tears as she finds a carved message in a tomb that .says "Let's meet again, Hadiyah". Hadiyah smiled, tears
glistening in her eyes. "See you soon, Von," she said softly, holding the tomb as if it were him. But all of a
sudden she hear a familiar voice "is that you Hadiyah ?".
