How do I read my results?

If your result is NEGATIVE for SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus 2), the virus that causes COVID-19 this may mean you were not
infected at the time your test was performed or there was not enough virus present to be detected.
If you receive an INVALID or REJECTED test result, it means that the sample you provided was non- optimal and could
not be tested or could not produce appropriate data to determine whether or not you are infected with the virus. If
you receive an invalid/rejected test result, please re-collect and re- submit a new sample.

Guidelines: CDC guidelines for COVID-19 are updated regularly. For the most up-to-date information on testing, quarantining, and
isolation, please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention websites: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov
/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/diagnostic-testing.html

Method: The Logix Smart Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) test is a real-time RT-PCR test intended for the in vitro qualitative
detection of nucleic acid from severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in lower respiratory tract fluids (e.g.
bronchoalveolar lavage, sputum, tracheal aspirate), and upper respiratory tract fluids (e.g. nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal
swabs) from individuals suspected of COVID-19 by their healthcare provider.

Limitations: Results are for the identification of SARS-CoV-2 RNA. The SARS-CoV-2 RNA is generally detectable in lower respiratory
tract fluids (e.g. bronchoalveolar lavage, sputum, tracheal aspirate), and upper respiratory tract fluids (e.g. nasopharyngeal and
oropharyngeal swabs) during the acute phase of infection. Positive results are indicative of the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA;
clinical correlation with patient history and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine patient infection status. Positive
results do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of
disease. Negative results do not preclude SARS-CoV-2 infection and should not be used as the sole basis for patient management
decisions. Negative results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, and epidemiological information.

Disclaimer: The Logix SmartTM COVID-19 Test Kit has not been FDA cleared or approved. It has been authorized by the FDA under
an emergency use authorization for use by authorized entities. The test has been authorized only for the detection of nucleic acids
from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens, and is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that
circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostic tests for detection and/or diagnosis of
COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.
