Thesis/ Profile Paper:

During my final year of High School one of my classmates and I decided to write our
thesis around the question: How do you make Real Estate profitable and keep it
ethical?
As we embarked on the journey to get answers to this question we experienced some of
the most memorable experiences of my academic journey. To get answers to the
questions we had constructed, we visited 4 different companies and interviewed 5
different people. For one of the interviews, we also followed an internship at the
company named Cushman & Wakefield in Amsterdam. After dedicating over 100 hours
to drafting, writing, filming, and editing, we completed our thesis in November 2023,
earning an outstanding grade of 9.5, the highest in our class.

Our thesis was divided into two components: one focused on written content,
while the other was a documentary.

YouTube.

Introduction:
Investing in real estate is a very broad concept. Real estate is, in fact, the term that
spans over the entire built world. However, real estate is not just a place to live or work;
it is also one of the most common investments a person can make. The world's
wealthiest individuals often own millions or even billions in real estate, generating
millions in monthly rent. Take, for example, Donald Trump, who owns nearly 3 billion in
real estate. Despite thousands of people having proven themselves in real estate
investing, we believe that the average Dutch person knows too little about investing in
real estate and the morally unjust things that happen around real estate. That's why we
have chosen to create a documentary about getting started in real estate investment.
With this, we hope to educate the Dutch population, especially students, about the
possibilities of investing in real estate.
