7. Organism Animal? Plant? Reason


Cabbage A cabbage is a producer – it feeds by photosynthesis. All plants
are producers.
Mouse A mouse is a consumer – it feeds by eating plant or animal
food. All animals are consumers. Also, like other animals, a
mouse has a nervous system, muscles, etc.
Worm Consumer – feeds by obtaining food from dirt/soil/organic
matter. Also has nervous system, muscles, etc.
Fly Consumer – feeds by eating organic matter (meat, etc). Also has
nervous system, muscles, etc.
Moss Feeds by photosynthesis.
Venus flytrap They are plants that get their energy from the Sun by
photosynthesis. They rely on flies only for a few minerals!
Sea anemone They are carnivores that eat smaller animals. Also have a
nervous system, muscles, etc. They only look like plants.
Homo sapiens Consumer – feeds by eating organic matter. Also has nervous
system, muscles, etc.
