A Media Converter converts the optical signal to an electrical signal and vice versa. So, on one end one
Syrotech media converter converts electrical to an optical signal. As an optical signal can transmit a long
distance so thought OFC data transmit and on the other end again Syrotech media converter is
connected to Fiber and converts the optical to an electrical signal.

Syrotech Media Converter 10/100/1000 Single Fiber 20 Kms translates the signal from a twist-pair
10/100/1000Base-TX cable to 1000Base-FX Fiber optic cable and therefore extends data transmission
distance from 100m via copper cables to 20km by single Fiber.
