Butterfly garland

This pretty paper butterfly garland is easy to make and I will show you how!

You will need:

For each butterfly


- 2 x coloured origami paper squares (15x15cm) double sided colour is best but use whatever
you have, or cut squares from pretty gift wrap.
- matching pipe cleaner (chenille stem) cut to 15cm / 6″ length
To hang
string or thin ribbon

How to:

1. Fold paper in half diagonally to make a triangle


2. Working from centre line out make zig zag folds about 1cm apart, one half then the
other.

3. Repeat with second piece of paper
4. Pinch together at centre
5. Wrap a pipe cleaner round and twist to secure, bend the pipe cleaner to resemble antennae
6. Open up wings and flatten edges to hold wing shape open.
Make as many as you like in different colours
7. Thread string or ribbon through the centre of the butterfly bodies.
