Subject: SWITCH OVER TO PSW FOR SUBMISSION AND ISSUANCE OF ALL

TYPES DRUG IMPORT LICENSES (DIL) AND RELEASE ORDER FOR
IMPORT OF DONATED DRUGS THROUGH PSW SYSTEM

It is informed that the duty-free import of donated drugs by registered INGOs, NGOs,
Hospitals, and Government Relief Projects/Programs will be switched over to Pakistan Single Window
(PSW) platform with effect from 28th February 2024 on all the commodities falling under the
regulatory ambit of Drug Regularity Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) as per the Import Policy
Order 2022 and other relevant rules and regulations being imported at all customs stations
including seaports, airports and dry-ports.

2. In addition to that, it is also informed that submission, processing, and issuance of all
types of Drug Import Licenses (DIL) by DRAP will also switch to PSW w.e.f. Wednesday 5th March
2024.

3. All stakeholders/traders/importers engaged in import of commodities mentioned above

falling under the purview of DRAP are advised to obtain PSW Subscriptions and file Single
Declaration (Imports) through PSW system for issuance of electronic Release Order for Donated
Drugs from DRAP and Customs clearance of their Import consignments w.e.f. Wednesday 28th
March 2023 and submission, processing, and issuance of all types of Drug Import Licenses (DIL)
w.e.f. 5th March 2024.
