About:
In a landmark initiative aimed at propelling students of all streams towards a globally
immersive educational experience, the Department of Postgraduate Studies in Management
(MBA) at Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangalore is hosting a two-day
event “Marketverse” on the 22nd and 23rd March 2024.

1. Treasure Hunt
A treasure hunt is a thrilling adventure where clues lead the way to a hidden prize! Team up
with fellow adventurers, combining your wits and skills to unravel riddles, decipher codes, and
follow cryptic maps through hidden corners and secret passageways. Each step brings you
closer to the coveted treasure.
2. Business Simulation
Business simulation games, also known as tycoon games, invite you to step into the shoes of
a virtual entrepreneur, CEO, or manager. Buckle up for a dynamic ride where you navigate
market fluctuations, manage resources, and compete against rivals. Every decision hold
weight, leading to exhilarating profit and nail-biting moments of risk.

3. Mad Ad’s
Break the rules and challenge established norms. Imagine ads that grab your attention with
wild visuals and over-the-top humor. Imagine a hamster driving a monster truck to sell
toothpaste, or a talking cactus arguing with a lawnmower about who gets to trim the hedges.

3. Capturing Treasures: Unveiling Moments beyond the Hunt!

their artistic vision with the excitement of exploration, turning each click into a piece of a
larger puzzle. So, grab your camera, embrace the spirit of adventure, and join us in this quest
to capture the beauty that lies beneath the surface.

About:
The “Campus to Corporate” aims to facilitate the transition from student life to the corporate
world by providing a platform for students to showcase their professional attire and
interpersonal skills. Our objective is to foster a deeper understanding of corporate
expectations regarding attire and behavior while promoting creativity and individuality.

Phases of the Competition
3. Corner Pitch
• The participants are supposed to pitch about their business
• The time limit is 5 minutes
• This phase will happen on the day of the inauguration i.e. 22-03-2024
4. Final Showdown
• This is the final phase where final value of your sales will be taken in to consideration
This phase will happen on 23-03-2024 evening.

Criteria/Rules for Corner Pitch
• Each participant will be given 5 minutes to present their pitch.
• Participants must clearly state the name of their brand or Business and the item they are
selling.
• The presentation format is left to the creativity of the participants, allowing for innovative and
engaging pitches.
• Presentations must adhere to a professional standard and avoid any offensive or
inappropriate content.
• Participants should focus on highlighting the unique features and benefits of their product
or service.
• Time will be strictly enforced, and presentations exceeding the allotted 5 minutes will be cut
off.
• Participants are encouraged to use visual aids or props to enhance their presentations, but
they are not mandatory.
• The judging criteria will include factors such as creativity, clarity, persuasiveness, and market
viability.
• The decision of the judges will be final.
General Guidelines
• Use of fire or any other inflammatory objects or equipment’s is prohibited
• Participation in this event is restricted to students only, the team will be disqualified if they
seek help from outside sources.
• Maximum number of Participants in a team is 8.
• Registration fee for the stall is Rs 1500/- per day.
• Each stall will have 2 volunteers monitoring the sales for judgment.
