Palworld's Early Access Build Play Manual

Thank you for playing the early access build of Palworld.


This manual will explain "Precautions", "How to launch Palworld", and "How to play
Multiplayer".

You will explore the vast open-world and collect mysterious creatures called "Pals".
Uncover the secrets of this mysterious land while taking on the unknown forces who stand in
your way.
Defeat the bosses that lay claim to each region's tower as you try to uncover the truth behind
the origin of Pals.
Build formidable bases, try to capture the strongest Pal possible, or breed it yourself!
Embark on a unique adventure with your Pals in this new world!

▼Precautions
• The game balance may vary between this build and the product build. (We might adjust the
balance before the Early Access launch.)
• This build will be updated after the Early Access launch. You can keep playing with the same
save data.
• Palworld doesn’t function well with the security software "Norton". If Norton and Palworld are
active at the same time, the game might unexpectedly crash.

• Don't transfer or resell the distributed Steam key to unrelated individuals.


• Translations into Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese are
finished. Some texts might not be translated yet in other languages. Please consider using
these languages if possible.
• Please refer to the guidelines when you stream or upload video of gameplay.

▼How to Install Palworld on Steam


1. Launch Steam and click on "Games > Activate a Product on Steam..."

2. Enter the distributed product code in the window shown in the screenshot below
3. If it successfully activates the product, Palworld will appear in your Steam library

▼How to Change Language Setting


Palworld uses your computer's system language by default. If you want to use other languages,
please modify the language setting by following the steps below.
1. Right click on Palworld in your Steam library and choose "Properties..."
2. Choose "Language" in the "General" tab and launch Palworld
▼How to Play Multiplayer
In co-op multiplayer, up to 4 players can play together.
The higher the specs of the host player's computer, the smoother the game performance will be.
It is strongly recommended that the player with a higher-specs computer be the host.

To be a host player
1. Select "Start Game" in the title screen
2. Create a new world

3. Set the Multiplayer option "ON" and press "OK" to proceed to the character creation
4. Adjust each options as you like to create your character and start a game

5. Open the main menu and tell the Invite Code to guest players (Main menu can be
opened with the ESC key or the START button)
A host player can keep playing the game while waiting for guest players to join.

To be a guest player
1. Select "Join Multiplayer Game(Invite Code)" in the title screen
2. Entering the Invite Code received from a host player will allow you to join the host
player's world

Follow the in-game instructions to create your character and enjoy playing Palworld.

Please note:
● All the character data is saved within the world's save data.
● Guest players can play in the world only while a host player is opening the world.
● You cannot transfer the character data to other worlds' save data.

▼Recommended World Settings


Normal Difficulty
● Standard progression speed as same as survival craft games
● Gathering materials takes a significant amount of time, and the estimated playtime to
defeat the final boss is around 50 hours
Casual Difficulty
● Faster progression speed as same as creature collector games
● Capturing Pals is easier; levels increase quickly

If you want to quickly progress the game within your streams/videos, please use the Casual
difficulty settings.
With the Casual difficulty settings, you will receive:
• 30% more EXP
• Doubled Pal Capture Rate
• Doubled amount of gatherable items and dropped items

If you don't want to make the combat easier, please adjust them as you like via the Custom
Settings.
