•The applicant who has completed (expects to complete) the education courses corresponding to Korea’s
primary, secondary and tertiary, and college education or recognized as having the equivalent education
according to the law, and satisfies all the qualifications for application.

students, applicants applying for the Departments in the field of Arts and Sports(Except

‘Department of Physical Education’), Natural Science or Engineering (Except ‘Department of
Horticulture’, ‘Department of Physics’, ‘Department of Plant Materials Industry and Science’, and
‘Department of Chemical Engineering’), applicants from the countries whose native language is
English (US, Canada, UK, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland), applicant from a country
where English is the official legal language who has completed their university education in
English, Chinese language track* applicant.

1 Program Introduction
A. The Korean Language Program at the Division of Language Education of Kangwon National University
targets the foreigners who wish to study Korean systematically.
B. In particular, it offers the best learning environment for the students who aim to enter into the
undergraduate or graduate school in Korea.
C. The program is structured to naturally familiarize the foreign students with Korean culture in addition to
the Korean language study by providing various opportunities to experience culture.
D. Consisting of 6 levels, the Korean Language Program is open in spring, summer, fall and winter. The level
