Acoustic Panels Materials:

• Fabric
o Guilford of Maine FR701
o You'll have to pick what color you want (be sure to check availability/backorder status)

o "Silver Papier" is the color I went with
o FR701 is sold by the yard (at a 66" width). With a 2' x 4' panel you need about 30" of material to cover
the width of the panel (24" plus 3"-ish on either side to wrap around the frame). So 1.5 yards of fabric
gets you two 2' x 4' panels
o Always safer to order more than you need than to skimp and run out of fabric

• Wood for Frame

o 1"x4" from whatever hardware store you frequent (8' boards tend to be less warped and make sure
you check the boards for warping/bending/cracks)

o What I do is buy 8' boards and basically cut the frame to be 2' x 8' around the perimeter. That leaves
the inner dimension of the frame a bit smaller than the 2'x4' insulation panel, so I just cut the
insulation to fit in the frame because that is easier than buying lumber and making the cuts to fit the
entire insulation panel

• Insulation - Owens Corning 703 (2" thickness is what you want and they all come in 2'x4' panels)

o Just show up during business hours, walk into the office and be like "I want X amount of owens
corning 703 2" thick panels" and they will get it out of the back and you'll pay and walk out

• Keyhole Fasteners (to attach to frame, each frame gets two fasteners):

o Doesn't have to be these exact ones, but these were the exact things I used

• Screws for Keyhole Hangers:

• Drywall Anchors (likely any will do, and you probably don't need 100 but something like this):

o Again, doesn't have to be these exact, just something to put in your wall if you aren't hanging these in
