Campus Housing Information

Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) has a limited number of discounted short-term housing options
located one block away from the hospital. Tenants have a private bedroom and access to common
areas shared with others of the same gender. Room rental rates range from $600 - $700 per month
and can be rented for up to 3 months.

Amenities Include: Furnishings, linens and housewares, paid utilities, washer/dryer, local telephone
service, internet access, security system (in select units), on-site parking pad

Please note that though the Campus Housing units are made available to professional visitors to NCH
who need temporary housing, the International Scholars Program participants will receive priority usage
of the NCH Campus Apartments. Campus Housing units are cost-friendly, shared rentals intended to
meet the basic needs of individuals seeking accommodations near the hospital. Our rental units are
not a hotel/motel and, although we feel they are clean, safe and a good value, we do not offer
hotel/motel types of services or support.
We will make every attempt to avoid personal contact with you during your move in process. If you are
interested:
• Submit rental applications as early as possible. Be sure to complete all requested information
including lease start and end date.
• Email the application to ISP@nationwidechildrens.org and you will receive a reply confirming
availability.
• Approximately 1-2 weeks prior to your arrival, we will assign you a private room and give the
exact address via email.
• We will attach to the email the lease, an invoice for the rent and the cleaning fee, and the unit
details packet.
• You will electronically sign your lease and return it to us.
• We will email you a second secure email requesting your payment information. Please note we
only accept credit or debit card payment. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH/CHECK PAYMENTS.
• You will return the second secure email with payment information before your move in date. We
will email you a receipt of your payment once processed.
• We will email you instructions for lockbox on your unit door to access your key.
Please remember:
• Room occupancy is limited to the applicant only. Tenants may not have visitors stay at the
address. No pets are allowed.
• All units are meant to be shared with NCH approved housemates and every effort is made by
this office to notify you of incoming housemates.
• We will provide a general cleaning service prior to the arrival of a new tenant. It is your
responsibility to maintain a clean and sanitary condition during your stay and to return the unit
in the same condition as it was at the beginning of the term of occupancy. Maintaining the unit
includes but is not limited to removing trash daily, washing dishes and wiping down surfaces
daily, securely storing food at all times, and maintaining personal as well as shared areas.
Failure to do so will result in assessment of an additional cleaning fee.
• Rent/cleaning fee will still be due if the tenant decides to depart before the lease terms expire.
