TOSHIBA AS3 Application Note 1.1.0 Estimated Time: N/A Navigating Menus & Parameters Level: 1 How to navigate the keypad through the AS3 Prerequisite: None menus and parameters. STEP A Keypad and Standard Mode There are three main modes on the AS3 keypad: Standard Mode, Setting Mode, and Monitor Mode. The simplest way to switch between modes is pressing the ESC key. Each mode can also be accessed via the function keys (F1-FA). [PANOAUTONES The touch wheel is used to scroll up or down. Scrolling can be accomplished by a continuous motion in the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction, or in individual steps by lightly pressing the touch wheel just above or below the OK key. The OK key should be pressed to select highlighted items and to save a parameter after it has been changed. @_ stop 00H Standard Made 0.0. Seren Copy Setting Monitor I) a8 Standard Mode displays the Output Frequency in the main window by default. The top row, from left to right, indicates the AS3 direction of rotation, operation status, frequency command value (F723), and 24hr time clock. Section 3.1 of the AS3 Instruction Manual E6582062 provides further details. This data is held during a trip condition. The monitor items include rotation, frequency, current, voltage, power, torque, terminal status, communication status, trip history, parts alarm status, cumulative run time, and number of starts. Section 8.1 of the AS3 Instruction Manual details how to program other monitor items to the Monitor Mode screen. The output current is displayed in units of % by default. This is a percentage of the VFD’s output current rat- ing. Typically, it is more helpful to read this number directly in units of Amps.
