Angela Davis

Angela Davis is an activist, educator and author. She is a strong voice in the
fight for civil rights. She gained an international reputation during her
imprisonment and trial on conspiracy charges from 1970-72. Davis is currently a
professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is still an activist,
working tirelessly to put an end to the death penalty and the prison industrial
complex.
