1. Project title: Human following robot

Robotic technology has increased appreciably in past couple of years. Such innovations were
only a dream for some

people a couple of years back. But in this rapid moving world, now there is a need of robot
such as “A Human

Following Robot” that can interact and co-exist with them. The development of robot
technology had increased

significantly due to industrial, medical and military applications. In various fields with harsh
environment such as

underground mining, war-zones, medical, construction, space exploration etc. the work done
by one is extremely

dangerous. Life of individuals assisting are also put at risks. Tasks performed by humans have
its own limitations in

many ways. In order to perceive beyond the human limitation in vision, speed, consistency,
flexibility, quality e.tc we

should make use of robots. A key requirement for these robots is the ability to detect
humans and to interact with the

min non-technical way. The main objective of this dissertation is to make a robot that can
help humans with various

tasks.. In this paper, we present a prototype of a human following robot that uses Arduino
Uno and different sensors for
detection and following an object. The Robot must follow the following objectives:

 The robot must be capable of accurately follow a person.

 It should be capable of taking various degrees of turns.

 The robot must be insensitive to environmental factors such as noise.

 The robot must be capable to avoid collision.

2. Project title: Agricultural Robot Project

Well agriculture has always been the backbone of India for a long time. The project we put
forth has been designed to automate the work of a farmer so that he can tirelessly perform
his farming tasks. We intend to automate the most common and frequent tasks of the
farmer.

Our project focuses on remote controlling and slight automating the tractor with sensors so
as to get daily farming tasks done with ease. Here we try to automate some farming tasks
such as remote controlled tractor and water spraying.

The farmer will be provided with a wireless remote control using which he may start or turn
off tractor robot and control its movement. Moreover the robot is also embedded with
obstacle sensors using which it can detect oncoming obstacles such as cattle, children, big
trees, rocks etc. Also it is fitted with a sprayer and water tank so farmer does not need to
manually spray water over fields. The robotic vehicle automatically sprays water when
farmer sends sprayer on command. Thus this agricultural robot is aimed to improve,
automate tractor farming and make the work of a farmer easy.

3. Project title: Automated 5Dof Robotic Arm Mechanism

Robotic arms are widely used in industries, manufacturing lines and other industrial
purposes. Robotic arms are used to implement complex industrial automation functionality
which only humans can achieve. These functionalities include picking up a part and placing it
horizontally into another machine or picking parts and placing it in packing boxes and more.
So here we propose the design and fabrication of a fully automated robotic arm that can
automate various industrial tasks. Our system consists of an assembly of mounts and parts
designed to hold motors in place in order to achieve desired movement. Also it consists of a
gripper designed with gear teeth in order to achieve gripping function as per motor rotation.
The system consists of 5 motors needed to achieve the desired movement. A circuit board
provided with it allows controlling the movement of the circuit according to the button
pressed. This mechanism helps in understanding the working and control flow of industrial
robotic arms design and fabrication processes.
