How animals communicate with humans

In my master thesis I would like to talk about how humans communicate with animals and
vice versa. I would also like to address whether animals understand if you speak to them in a
foreign language.
Many animals communicate through behaviour by feeling distinct social behaviours. Ethical
issues in such work would be the results may be too good or too bad to be credible. Another
issue would be the level of affection a companion animal owner has for his furry friend and
how well the two communicate. How well the owner distinguishes the needs and behaviour
of the animal. The differences between how cats communicate with dogs and how similar and
different the different species of animals are. Another issue I might encounter would be
whether animals can reproduce human sounds to communicate with humans or these sounds
are only meant for other animals and not humans.
I would like to compare the study that I will do that will not harm the animals with other
studies done by other specialists and see the differences between the 2 studies. For this paper
I should pay special attention to vulnerable topics to avoid violating ethical codes for
example when I talk about how animals communicate with humans depending on how they
are treated by their owners. At the time when I choose the animal owners who will answer a
questionnaire about how their animals communicate, I will give them a list explaining in
detail that everything will be confidential and the animals will not be harmed. I will have to
explain and obtain the consent of the participants to ensure the veracity and accuracy of the
resulting data.
