Garden Show

Rene said, “I have an album which is color yellow. There is a picture of

Rose plant on the front cover. The pictures in my album are flowering

plants.”

We have a garden show of flowering plants in our class. These are

plants that have flowers like santan, gumamela and sampaguita. The

Show lasted for two hours.

Right Food for a Healthy Body

Michael and Angelou are friends. They go to school together.

They eat lunch together too.

Everyday Michael eats rice and chicken hotdog. Angelou eats

rice, fish, vegetables and fruits.

One day Michael got sick. Angelou visited him. She brought

some fruits. Michael did not like fruits, but he gave him

bananas and oranges. So Michael tried some and realized they

made him feel well.

When he got back to school, Michael thanked Angelou. He

knows that he needs the right kind of food for a healthy body.

beaches with white sand. She sees woman making necklaces out
of shells.

The Greedy Dog

One day a greedy dog stole a piece of meat from a meat shop. The
dog had to walk over a bridge to cross the river to get home.

When he got on the bridge , he looked down over the bridge and
into the water. He saw a dog holding a piece of meat in his mouth. He
did not know that he was seeing himself in the water.

The greedy dog thought to himself that he would take the piece of
meat from the other dog.

Then he would have two pieces. But when he opened his mouth to
grab the other piece of meat, the piece of meat in his mouth fell into
the river.

The Witch and the Wish

Amy sat on the grass. She was sad. That’s because she taught she
was ugly. She wasn’t but she taught she was. A strange looking woman
came by. She’s a witch thought Amy. “Are you a good witch or a bad
with?’ Amy asked. “My name is Elga Twill. What makes you think I’m a
witch? “She said. You’re carrying a broom,” said Amy.
“Well what’s you’re wish?” asked Elga Twill.
“I know you’re a good witch. Please make me pretty.
Elga Twill took a dewdrop from the grass. “ Now your eyes will sparkle,”
she said. “Hear that bird? That will make your voice lovely. See how the
sun shine? She will make you smile.? Elga Twill waved her hand and
hurried away.
“I’m pretty!” cried Amy. “I just know I am.” And she was. Her eyes
were bright, her smile was lovely, and her voice was happy.
Down the street, Mrs. Elga Twill swept her kitchen. She swept it her
new broom. And she wondered, “What if I were a witch? What would
that be like?’
