D. COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of software development as
principles are applied to medium-sized software projects.

E. PREREQUISITE/S : 2nd Year Standing


F. COURSE OBJECTIVES :

1. Show the need for professional discipline and effective management throughout the software development process.
2. Show the importance of teamwork and good interpersonal skills in successful software development.
3. Introduce some methods and techniques available to the software engineer for use in the requirements engineering process.
4. Present standard object-oriented techniques for software analysis and design.
5. Introduce key object-oriented design principles.
6. Introduce design patterns and demonstrate how they can facilities the overall development process
