Welcome! Below you will find basic instructions for commanding units in battle.

The in-game Boot Camp tutorial offers more information on how to use the unit orders. Click the
TUTORIAL button on the Main Screen.

Selecting Units and Issuing Orders:

· Left click unit or unit icon to select a unit.

· left click on the map to deselect current unit.

· Shift+left click to add additional units to a group selection. Ctrl+left click to

remove a unit from a group selection. Left click and drag to create a box selection.

· Right click target unit / unit icon or location to open context-sensitive orders
menu.

· New orders will replace existing orders by default. Hold the Shift key while issuing
an order to add the new order to the existing order instead.

Basic Keyboard Commands:

· F1: Display release notes.

· F5: Toggle unit list on/off.
· F6: Toggle soldier list on/off.
· F7: Toggle timer bar on/off.
· A/W/S/D: Move camera viewpoint
· R/F or up/down arrow: Zoom in/out.
· Q/E or Left/Right Arrow: Rotate camera viewpoint (in perspective view.)
· U: Hide/show UI (expect for mini-map.)
· J: Hide/show mini-map.
· K: Toggle map overview.
· L: Toggle between top-down and perspective views.
· ESC: Show game menu.
· SPACE: pause/un-pause game. YOU CAN ISSUE ORDERS DURING PAUSE.
· CTRL down: Shows LOS shading for current mouse position / mouse unit.
· SHIFT: Queue next order rather than replacing existing orders.
· Z/X/C/V/B/N/M are order shortcut keys.

NOTE: LOS shading indicates where line of sight is either obscured or blocked. You may still be
able to fire to areas that are obscured by light obstacles (like bushes and trees) even if the LOS
shading is dark behind those obstacles.
