Nurse’s Notes

I am very excited to start my fourth year as the school nurse at South Park
Middle School. The South Park Nurse’s Clinic hours are Monday thru Friday
8:30 a.m. - 4:05 p.m. You can call the clinic anytime directly at 878-
4721. I look forward to a wonderful year with our amazing South Park
Knights.

*flu season is around the corner and

To avoid this, you must do this.

healthy and learning is to encourage
frequent hand washing,
sneezing/coughing in elbows, eating
healthy, drinking plenty of fluids and
getting plenty of rest.
* CCISD has a district wide fever policy: If a child has a fever greater than 100 degrees, they
may not return to school until they have been fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever
reducing medications.

*update the clinic of any changes

in your child’s health and/or
changes in telephone numbers.

emergency card to the school nurse.

All prescription medications to be given at school will require written

authorization signed by the physician and parent/guardian.
