The career I chose is MMA fighter.

The skills needed to become an MMA fighter are speed, strength,

endurance, coordination, adaptability, discipline, reflexes, and resilience.
I will obtain these skills by taking classes from a professional and training whenever possible. I can take
MMA classes at a gym to gain experience and martial art techniques. I can also go to that gym to improve
my strength, speed, endurance, and coordination.
Timeline
Foundation (Months 1-6) Martial Arts Basics: Begin training in a specific martial art (e.g., boxing,
kickboxing, or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). Focus on mastering fundamental techniques and building a strong
foundation. Start a strength and conditioning program to improve overall fitness, endurance, and power.
Incorporate running, swimming, or cycling to enhance cardiovascular endurance. Also, learn about proper
nutrition to fuel my training and recovery.
Intermediate Level (Months 7-12) Expand my skill set by incorporating other martial arts (e.g., wrestling,
Muay Thai, or judo). Regularly engage in sparring sessions and drills to apply techniques in a dynamic
setting. Focus on takedowns, submissions, and ground control. Develop mental resilience through
visualization, meditation, and stress management.
Advanced Training (Months 13-24) Simulate fight scenarios in training to prepare for real competition.
Work with coaches to develop personalized fight strategies based on my strengths and opponents’
weaknesses. Integrate HIIT workouts to improve explosive power and endurance. Learn about recovery
methods such as ice baths, massage, and stretching.
Specialization (Months 25-36) Decide whether I want to specialize in striking, grappling, or a balanced
approach. Participate in amateur fights to gain experience and test my skills. Be open to adjusting my
training based on feedback from coaches and opponents.
Professional Level (Months 37+) Spar with high-level fighters to sharpen my skills. Periodize my strength
training to peak for competitions. Develop mental toughness for the pressure of professional fights.
Engage in focused fight camps leading up to professional bouts.
Becoming a pro MMA fighter will be hard and take a long time but with consistent effort, dedication, and
coaching I can become a pro MMA fighter.
